No one is keeping up with Locksmith right now. H e moves from one dope project to another. He makes one video after another. It’s hard for the comp (and blogs) to keep pace. At this point, if you don’t own Labyrinth, don’t come back here. I don’t want you as a reader.
Single You Out: Thee Tom Hardy – Show Me Your Hands
Am I too late to join this party? Man, Thee Tom Hardy is one of my favorites. He just has flow, cadence, and style. Things you just can teach to emcees. 2DBz reported that his new album, Guerilla Broadcast, drops later this month. That my friends, is good news for us all. Raise your glasses to Thee Tom Hardy…
Single You Out: Retrospek – Triceratops
Never featured Retrospek on the blog before but this track is nice. The production is really just some synth chords but the show is highlighted by the emcees. Some exceptional lyricism taking place.

Note:
This review was a long time in coming. It is one of the most difficult reviews I have ever engaged in due to the albums’ complexities. After all, it’s not every day that you get an album like, Heart Of A King.
Single You Out: LIFETIME – Hip Hop Poets (ft. Sha Stimuli x Cyrus Malachi)
Here’s a track that I have had on “draft” status for a week. I could not find some decent artwork for this joint so I compromised by using LIFETIME’s twitter pic. At any rate this joint is nice, and hey, it features Sha Stimuli. You can’t gow wrong with that.
Illmaculate – Lost Our Soul (ft. Ness Lee) (Video)
More Illmaculate. More Skrill Talk. You can’t go wrong with any of that.
Illus – Ready (Video)
This is an official video of the year candidate. What a great concept! One of the most unique visuals I have seen in a long time. Now musically, this may be one of my favorite cuts from Illus. He has a couple of albums under his belt and his latest, Family First, drops May 29th. Expect unfiltered hip hop on that joint!
JustMe – Ceremonial Master (ft. Wonder Brown)
Ceremonial Master is the first offering, from JustMe’s forthcoming album, Full Disclosure. I am digging the production and JustMe has always had a flow that I can appreciate.
Trademark Aaron – I Know (Video)
Well, at first I was indifferent to this video and the music. Then I thought I would go back and listen to it again. And while it was not love at first listen, there is something about Trademark Aaron that I like. It could be his sense of humor. It could be his flow. I am not sure I can actually pin point it. But I went and looked back at another video that he put out last year and was impressed enough to want to hear more and pass this on to you all.
Single You Out: OTiS CLaPP – Pick Ya Pants Up
This is a fun hip hop track that dropped a few days ago. The vocal backdrop is cool and the instrumentation keeps the production interesting. OTiS CLaPP has a different style and delivery altogether which make this a refreshing listen.
