This song is no joke. I am not laughing. Planet Asia and Ras Kass coupled with Torae and Jasiri X? Ah hell. This song is a banger in every sense of the word. The beat by REL!G!ON is next level. There is nothing to dislike about this track unless you simply hate hip hop.
Single You Out: YC The Cynic – More And More Remix (Ft. Rapper Big Pooh, King Mez & Chaundon)
The remix for YC The Cynic’s, More And More, includes more than just a couple of dope alternate invites. It looks like he solicited some of the Carolina’s best. The original song from Fall FWD is dope but I may yet prefer this “Carolina” version. On a side note, every time I hear a King Mez guest shot, I crave to hear a solo album. Maybe soon?
The Black Opera – Villains (Video)
The Black Opera is back! I really enjoyed their EP from earlier this year. This song is just as good if not better than any other track from that EP. I can’t wait to hear the new project.
Malkovich – What I Know (ft. Sum) (Video)
Is this the first time I have featured Malkovich? Better late than never. Much of this is in part to his rhyming partner on this track, Sum. That man can flow! Where is he from? What has he done in the past? At any rate it’s a great song. The beat is provided by Becoming Phill. If you are really feeling this track, why don’t you download it? It’s free.
Red Eye – Step Aside (Video)
More new music from The Closers / Infinity Gauntlet lyrical enforcer. I think Red Eye’s bars are tough and he’s got a good flow. His mixtape, St. Fatrick’s Day, is dropping this upcoming March. Keep paying attention to this artist!

Note:
Give me something different. Something unique. Give me…some more music from Forbidden Dialect! I reviewed their first joint, More Than Your Money’s Worth, more than a year ago. I found it on my own, web surfing and thought it was refreshing. This time Forbidden Dialect sent me the link to their new album. I thought to myself, “What are the chances that this album is as good as the first?” I was incredulous, but to my pleasant surprise, Orange Sessions, is probably better than their first effort. If More Than Your Money’s Worth is initially fresh, then Orange Sessions is consistently vibrant. It simply follows in the footsteps of it’s predecessor and expands upon that foundation. When you have six (count them) talented artists, with diverse backgrounds, then it is inevitable that you are going to get a very unique album.

Koncept – Feel So Good (ft Laurence Lafond-Beauln) (Video)
The BBAS team must all be drinking some secret elixir that enhances their rhyming and production skill because everything they put out is noteworthy. It’s ALL that damn good. Koncept really is bringing it with his last two singles. I’ve always like him as an emcee but these tracks (in particular this one) really have him stepping up a notch. The production by Tranzformer,…awesome. Love this joint.

Single You Out: Redhead – Can Only Blame Yourself (ft. Laelo Hood)
I like getting things like this in my email. You know…dope music type things. I have no information on the artist Redhead but the song really speaks volumes. I truly like everything about this song. The production is nice (Ratatat) and the verses are well thought out. A guest shot from Laelo Hood does nothing but help. If you like this cut, it is off his mixtape which just dropped (yet to check it out), The Schemata.

Single You Out: A.L. Laureate – Automated Negligence
Are you looking for something mellow yet introspective this morning? A.L. Laureate has got you covered. It’s a deep song so make sure you pick a quiet corner to listen to this for the first time. DJ Frantic is on the beat. Laureate’s new album, Closed Eyed Insomnia is on it’s way.
