Singles, Albums, EPs, Mixtapes, and Videos that get the HHD thumbs up.
I’ve talked and talked about Lucciauno’s album, Respect. If you don’t own it, don’t come around here anymore. One of my favorite tracks gets the visual treatment.
Forgive me. I have been on vacation with limited internet access. But I now bring to you, a favorite son of HHD…J57. This is definitely a musically interesting cut that you should share with a friend. J57 does indeed have the Midas Touch. Be sure to check out his new EPs…2057 and The Ports Both are exceptional in quality.
I am all over this release. Full Disclosure drops tomorrow and you better believe that I am going to cop this album. I have heard a couple of tracks from this album and both are remarkable. I really love this joint thought. The soulful crooning of Marcus Wilkerson and the verses from JustMe and Sheisty Khrist are top shelf.
I am on vacation but I wanted to share one of my current favorites with you all. Service Without A Smile dropped last month and is a beast. This is one on my favorite tracks from that project. Make sure you DL this project and share it. Really dope hip hop.
More good music from the highly underrated Godilla. The video is simple, yet engaging. I like the way the lyrics are displayed in the comic book font. Be on the lookout for more joints from Godilla.
J57 is going to unleash to EPs next Tuesday, 2057 and The Ports. That my friends is double the Brown Bag goodness. So no complaining next Tuesday on how nothing dope dropped. Rasheed Chappell blesses J57’s fabulous creation (Elite Status) with superlative verses. This is a good combination…
I have been sitting on this joint for s second, for no good reason. The beat we’ve all heard before but the flows and rhymes kick it up a notch. I am pretty familiar with Savant from his Crash Series. I could tell from those joints that he’s a talented artist. MedafORACLE and Mr. Miranda are also no slouches when it comes to emceeing. Thusly, you have bar enrichment.
I have always enjoyed The Day Laborer’s music. This joint can simply be described as…smooth. It’s coming off their forthcoming album, Deep Space Soul, which will be entirely produced by Rain.
Here’s another local ATX artist worth supporting. Warrior Muzik brings a lot of energy to the track and the production is on point. Finally, another artist from my neck of the woods that I can get behind!
