4th Assassin posted this on his Twitter feed and I knew this was going to be nice. The guitar sample and piano keys are the perfect back drop for this posse cut. The samples chopped in are just icing on the cake. I am not sure if this joint will wind up on any project so be sure to enjoy it now.
Single You Out: Donny Goines – Fuck Lil Wayne (Flat Out I Don’t Like You)
I do not care for Lil Wayne, and I am big fan of Donny Goines’ body of work so posting this was really a no brainer. And let’s face it…somebody had to say it…and who could do it fresher?
“…you don’t like New York? Guess what? You ain’t welcome.”
“…the only Carter I like is Jay-Z…”

Friday Feature: M.A. Cee Kings – $$$ In The Bank
Are you a believer yet? Are you understanding why I am featuring him on HHD this month? Whether he rocks over instrumentals or original production, M.A. Cee Kings kills it. He is the consummate rhyme writer with great technique and flow.
Next Friday will be the end of our monthly showcase on M.A. Cee Kings but we will definitely continue to post his material. Stay tuned….
Single You Out: Ruste Juxx and The Arcitype – The Walking Dead (ft. Ill Bill, Guilty Simpson and Shabaam Sahdeeq)
After this cut, plus the last joint, EVERYONE should be anticipating this album! This track is on some ‘darkest hour’ type ish. Definitely something that can stay in the headphones for quite some time. Make sure you check out Ruste Juxx and The Arcitype’s album, V.I.C. next month…
Single You Out: Cashus Flow – The Right Time (ft. John Robinson)
Cashus Flow dropped a new single. This one features John Robinson. I am not going to tell you what group he’s from. If you don’t know that by now, I just don’t know what to tell you.
But back to this track. It’s definitely more mellow than the last single he shot over. But he still delivers on quality and content on his rhymes. Lamplighter’s Delight drops this coming Tuesday on his bandcamp page, so save a few extra duckets this week and contribute to the cause.
Single You Out: Streets Raised Me – Comet ft Red Eye & Blaq Poet
I checked this because of his affiliation to Red Eye and true to form, this joint knocks. DJ Supa Dave drives a hard bargain with this joint while Comet and company give it the proper treatment.
Illogic & Blockhead- Ego’s Orbit (Official Video
Illogic and Blockhead release the second video for their exceptional project, Preparing For Capture. Make sure you grab a hold of that sooner rather than later. I also believe that they have a new EP dropping in September but don’t quote me on that yet.
Single You Out: 200 PROOF – Catchin’ Wreck

An artist we featured here before, Scoe 7, recently shot over this new single from his crew, 200 PROOF. The crew consists of True King, Carter, and Scoe 7. This joint is some surprise heat. I mean, I expected it to be decent, but these guys show and prove to produce a banger. Recognize!
Miami Beat Wave – Succeed (ft. ArtOfficial, Locos Por Juana, Omniscient, and Davincci (Video)
I featured this Miami Beat Wave single a couple of weeks ago and now it gets the visual treatment. Anybody know when their compilation might be available? These producers never do you wrong. This song qualifies for the term excellent!
The Plexiglass Fountain – The It (Video)
This is the first single off of The Plexiglass Fountain’s forthcoming album, Concrete Mythology (The Year Of The Dragon). Musically this track is exceptional. If you listen carefully you can hear so many different components of Tokyo Cigar’s production. It’s really dope to hear someone craft a hip hop beat like this. Lyrically, it’s coming from the heart. They’re not dropping crazy punchlines…they’re dropping sincerity.
