This is a clear and deliberate track coming off of Rilgood’s forthcoming mix tape, Kingdom. It has a raw, old school vibe to it, which I can appreciate. Is somewhat reminiscent in style to Roc Marciano.
Tone Liv – Grimey Slick Talk (Produced by Dus) (Video)
Tone Liv and the fellas keep the video grimy while hanging out spitting verbals in an abandoned warehouse. This track heralds from Liv’s new album, Cheap Porn, Tall Cans, and T.V. Dinners.
Esh & Arc – The Third Tit (ft. Romen Rok) (Video)
New video from Esh & Arc’s collaborative EP, Nightworks. It features their compatriot Romen Rok. It’s a high energy cut highlighted with many a dope line.
Single You Out: Shabaam Sahdeeq – The Come Back Kid (ft. FT and Skyzoo)
New music from Shabaam Sahdeeq accompanied by FT and Skyzoo. When it comes to Sahdeeq’s music, it’s always heat rocks. No different here. DJ Skizz on the beat.
Grayskul – Come On (Video)
One of the illest sets from a show came courtesy of Grayskul. They have a high energy skillset that gets you amped. They also have a ton of material out there that people may not know about. (maybe it’s time for another discography…hmmm.) There new album, Zenith is slated for September so be on the lookout.
Single You Out: Snake Hollywood – Nuthin’ Higher
When Snake Hollywood spits, I listen. His EP, My Condolences was one of the highlights of my 2012. Now I hear he has a new release entitled, My Condolences: Addendum dropping sometime this summer. I am not sure what it will include (remixes, new music) but it’s sure to be dope. On the joint, Nuthin’ Higher, Hollywood channels a little of that Run DMC boom bap.
Stryfe & Marc Byrd – War (Video)
Ok. If this song doesn’t move you and make you want to hit something, we’ve got a problem. This song is so dangerous to eardrums it may knock off your equilibrium. I am not playing. This song is coming off of Stryfe and Marc Byrd’s album, The Last Resorts. That is a great album by the way. If you are tired of the same old boring fuckery that befuddles the masses on a daily basis, you are going to want this album. The duo surpasses limits and expectations. Blam.
Sgt. Over – High On Life (Video)
Sgt. Over drops a video for High On Life, which can be found on his most recent album, Precious Jewels. This time the emcee drops that certified smooth ish. We all need to smooth it out from time to time. Cop the album…
EMS x Soulslicers – Past Doubt (Video)
The EMS team and the Swiss producers, Soulslicers, create a visual for, Past Doubt, which is coming off the new street album, Slice Of Life. The album is available for free at DJ Booth. I have listened to it and I can give you the green light to go get it (like you were waiting for that anyway). This particular track is one of the smoothest cuts off of the album.
Single You Out: Mr. Morbid & Melph – Lifestyles of the Living Dead (Feat. Ill Proceeja)
Mr. Morbid & Melph were featured on HHD for the first time a couple of months ago. I really felt that dark and ominous song that they were bringing to the table. Now they seem intent with the release of this single to build a mounting buzz for their upcoming album, Close To The End.
