I am not going to let this one slip through the tracks (haha). Gstats just released his project, Syke Ward, and I was one of the first in line to cop it. First off, Shinigamie Records, has a proven track record of dropping some dope material. Gstats drops some rough and rugged flows throughout the release, but this posse cut right here, was definitely and ‘oh wow’ moment.
If you are feeling it, make sure drop some scratch on the album.
Fools Gold is one of the stand out track from DJ Modesty’s latest project, Brooklyn Kingz County. Shabaam Sahdeeq lends his authentic style to an uptempo banger provided by the aforementioned Modesty.
If you feel the banging beat on this track, you are sure to feel the entire project. Make sure you give it a listen!
The topic of disinformation abounds on this second single from Spit Gemz forthcoming project, Godly Features. We are all fed lies and tom foolery from those in a position of power, don’t be deceived. Dope production coming from Organik Poisons which features a nice Slick Rick chopped sample on the hook. Shabaam Sahdeeq stops by to lend a hot 16 to add even more flavor to the joint,
Scifi Stu initiates auditory mayhem with this chaotic/psychotic production that Nutso, Shabaam Sahdeeq, and Hus Kingpin make straight up chaos over. For a little extra flavor Chinch 33 does what he does best and chops up the record making it all the more enticing for listeners.
I am not totally positive, but I think Scifi Stu might have a project dropping soon. I have copped all his other records so this will be no exception.
I just reviewed El Gant’s Beast Academy last week. It’s an album that has some incredible bars, and this joint is no exception. This time he brings in the Infinity Gauntlet camp for a little game of baseball. Except the only thing these listeners are going to catch are some hot lines. I am really hoping for an Infinity Gauntlet album soon because whenever these guys get on the mic, wonderful madness ensues.

Again, not a full review, just an awareness post. I don’t know how it happened, but Skeezo linked up with one hell of a producer to remix his Stuck In Da 90s project from last year. Rediculous lives up to his moniker when it comes to the beats he utilized for this project. In all honesty, I am loving this entire thing from front to back. The original is dope, but the remixed version is next level. Skeezo’s vocals sound perfect over this reworking. It’s a free download, so make sure you head on over to the link above and download from DJ Booth. This will be essential for 2014.
Shabaam Sahdeeq holds down the hip hop culture with the title track from his latest album, Keepers of the Lost Art. Do the knowledge and understand the math behind what it means to be a hip hop artist….Sahdeeq emplores you to study up before you hit a stage or do a mixtape. The new album is everything that is right about hip hop, so make sure you cop it at the earliest convenience.
The single dropped a couple of weeks ago and subsequently we get the visuals. The concept is almost like a basement cypher. As we said when we brought you the single a couple of weeks ago each of these emcees goes in with their verses. There is no weak link in the armor. In the description of the video there is a comparison of Bekay to ODB for this particular cut and that seems appropriate. I mean, dude is giving himself a haircut while spittin’ a dope sixteen…

I love the music Rediculous puts out. He always puts out fantastic beats and tags with the elite emcees in the game. In this case, on Kalashnikov and Kush he gets bars from Shabaam Sahdeeeq (has anyone done more work than him in 2014), El Gant, Famoso, and Bekay. That’s one hell of a line up!

Wack rappers best call a full retreat because it’s not safe outside for you when Eff Yoo and Godilla’s project, They Came On Horseback, drops next week. This joint has bars that are toxic to the weak minded. The guys bring a militia with them in the form of Shabaam Sahdeeq, Adlib, Spit Gemz, and UG. Those are top notch artists delivering equally to notch material.
