New video single up for the title track from Body Bag Ben and Planet Asia’s collaborative album, Heist The Crown. As always, PA delivers the goods over some sinister boom bap music box beats from Ben. These guys are about as prolific as they come when it comes to crafting music in the last couple of years. Coming at you in a torrid pace.
Body Bag Ben x Planet Asia – Heavy Metal (Video)
Yep. Planet Asia. You say the name and with 100 percent assuredness it’s going to get a post here. The man does no wrong. And he keeps on rolling, project after project, and collaboration after collaboration. Here he links up with a pretty prolific artist in his own right, Body Bag Ben, and they proceed to make some menacing music with the single, Heavy Metal.
They have a new project out as well that you should be checking, Heist The Crown.
Planet Asia x DJ Jay-Ef – Steel Drums (prod. by Evidence) (Video)
Planet Asia and DJ Jay-Ef have a new album that dropped last week entitled, Cash Or Caskets. And we ALL know (don’t pretend) that anything Planet Asia blesses is certified material. The man has never dropped a wack bar in his life, and his presence on the mic is versatile on so many beats, this time flipping over something mellow from Evidence. This man has lyrics in abundance.
I’m too old to give a fuck about your self-centered suffering
That’s not just a bar, but a life mantra!
Single You Out: Faf – Medaliano (ft. Planet Asia)

Really wanted to share this project from producer, Faf, entitled The Haymaker. It’s a really dope project that I stumbled across and listened to today. I strongly encourage you all to do the same. In order to prompt that listening pleasure, I am showcasing this joint he did with Planet Asia which is that necessary weekend fire. I love how he contorted this Indian music sample, and you can NEVER go wrong with a P.A. Flow. Never…
Planet Asia – 1984 (Video)
Loving this Evidence produced track from Planet Asia. There is beauty in the subtlety of sound here. I love the guitar, the vocal sample, and the sound scape in general. It’s engaging but it lets Asia demonstrate is supreme lyricism and delivery. There aren’t too many who can match this man’s career and talent.
He’s got another heater coming called Rule Of Thirds which is dropping on October 29th. You aren’t going to want to miss that!
Single You Out: Freshman Woes – More Rap Dudes (ft. Blu x Planet Asia x MED)
I didn’t feel enough people were given this project from Freshman Woes enough shine and I thought I should do something about that. This is my favorite joint from this dope producer album, Thank The Rap Gods, that recently dropped. I love the heavy funk driven track and the line up of emcees that grace it’s presence in, Blu, Planet Asia, and MED.
This may not be a song that was originally crafted in 2021 but it’s definitely going to be in my “Best Of” list by years end. It’s too strong and dope to be ignored.
The whole project is diverse and has an original knock to it. I strongly recommend you check out what Freshman Woes has going on.
Planet Asia – Truck Jewels (Video)
New Planet Asia, Holy Water, is slated to be out today. I am hoping that’s the case because I always look forward to his music. This is an emcee’s emcee. He can rock over ANY beat. And here he represents over some audible chaos from The Architect. Planet Asia is dropping some Revalations in the truest sense of the word!
Planet Asia – Gunman Zen (Video)
Prolific? You want prolific…I give you Planet Asia. You would be hard pressed to find someone who has a better discography than him…ever….period. And he is still producing some of his finest work to date. Dirty Diggs production is an instant win and I like how they used the sample to give it a Buddhist chant feel on the chorus. And don’t take Asia’s zen as weakness, he’s always a deadly shooter.
Off the album, Bodhidharma
Single You Out: Darkim Be Allah x Endemic Emerald – God of the Universe (ft. Planet Asia)

Darkim Be Allah has been making hip hop music for a while but very sporadically so it’s great to hear that he has a complete album with Endemic Emerald coming out on November 6th! This track has that jazzy and smooth vibe to it which seems to suit Darkim Be Allah and guest emcee Planet Asia perfectly.
Planet Asia – Winter Time (Prod. By 38 Spesh) (Video)
Planet Asia and 38 Spesh prove to be a deadly combination throughout their collaborative project, Trust The Chain. And the video for Winter Time is just that…a cold cut. Enjoy!
