Rhett Committed Murder can be found on the crew’s latest EP, the Brown Label Part 2.
This is the latest installment of videos from Koncept’s Awaken album that was released late last year. It’s probably one of the more popular tracks tracks as it’s hard to go wrong with a guest verse from Royce da 5’9 and a beat from Marco Polo.
The video is a concept that has most recently been used by Ras Kass where young ladies play the roles of the hip hop artists who perform the song.
I wish I had some time to talk about this release, but time is not on my side and I wanted to get this project out so you can all enjoy it. If you like hard rhymes and beats served NYC style, this is something that you are going to want to check out. A couple of the songs I had heard before but many of them were new to me. A lot of great guest shots available on this one as well.

I wish I had more time to dedicate to the releases that are coming out of this camp. Their music is always dope and they are consistent to say the least. You should frankly own all of their projects. I will hopefully be able to continue to update their discography throughout the years. The guys pull on the heart strings of record collectors and music lovers everywhere with their dedication to Fat Beats NY, a pace where they combined talents and emerged as the artists they are today. The Audible Doctor fixes up a wonderful production which is pretty typical for him.
The team’s new EP, Brown Label Part 2, drops next Tuesday, on September 4th.
It’s Brown Bag AllStars fam! This track is coming off of J57’s new project 2057, dropping on May 22nd. I really liked Koncept’s last project, Awaken, but damn, he was spitting something vicious on this joint. Not to be played with.
The BBAS guys give you the gift of music this New Years Day. A compilation of some of their best work from 2011, and it’s all free! As you can see and hear, these guys are the crew right now. Each member puts out quality music and when they are together, I don’t think there is anybody better. Enjoy this body of work and remember to stay supportive of great music!
Late November was a tough time for me to post so I am making up for the lost time and making sure I make you all aware of what J57 is cooking up for his 2057 EP, dropping next month perhaps. I can hope. These tracks are all dope but my favorite is this last one, Pulp Fiction ft. Koncept. What pray tell is your favorite of the bunch?
