Kore of the revered EMS camp releases an uptempo head-nodding party anthem as a single for his forthcoming album, KOREiculum, which is due out on October 31st. It’s short but clever and to the point metaphor for an evening of chasing the ladies.

DZ The Unknown teams up the EMS team (M-Dot, Revalation, and Kore) for this video single, Lucid. The production from C-Lance may be one of my favorite beats from him recently. The lyricism is also very rich with each artists delivering their own measure of talent to the table.
This track is off of DZ’s project, Observe and Adapt which has yet to receive a release date.

Here’s a single from Cloud City Project’s album, No White Flags, which has been out for a couple of months now and remains exceptionally ill. If you love that hardcore boom bap, this is going to be right up your alley. This beat is like street gospel right here and all of the emcees really deliver the goods on the quality of bars, plus you get that EMS flavor when Revalation knocks out his sixteen.
M-Dot and Effiscienz? Yes, please! M-Dot is legit at the peak of his game and Effiscienz is THE label right now. It has an outstanding habit of dropping outstanding albums every year. And you know what it did a week or so ago? It dropped the appropriate titled, Out Of Nowhere, that features some of the best doing it right now. DJ Brans on the boards for this one which gives this cut certified status. Enjoy the duo’s music as they run through Paris like nobody’s business.
This post is a week late in the making from producer Jon Glass’ weekly series. And to be honest, I don’t follow weekly series such as this because I have a hard time keeping up, but this one features favorite M-Dot. So we definitely have to share. Glass utilizes a jazzy piano loop, a soulful vocal sample, and some snapping drums for M-Dot to flip on. And the emcee, goes over the history and formula of separating himself from the pack as an artist. It doesn’t take you long to figure out why.
I hope that Jon Glass makes this series available fo purchase at some point because I would like to hear it in it’s entirety.
M-Dot drops a video for one of my favorite tracks off of egO anD The eneMy. Reliant is a very vivid look into the eyes and mentality of an alcoholic. Yet another example of the dexterity M-Dot possesses as he narrates tales of addiction. Whatson on the production.
New video single off of Superior’s latest album, The Journey. And this video features none other than EMS cohorts, M-Dot and Revalation. The song, Earn It, is the perfect track for these guys to put a little perspective on the game. So many acts are just flash in the pans who have paid absolutely no dues. They expect just to show up and have it handed to them. EMS perfectly embodies the mentality that hard work and talent pay off.
Cop this album. Lots of good joints on here.

Note:
It is no secret around these parts that M-Dot is a much respected name. We feature nearly all of his music. But it’s also been a minute since he has released an album and in the end it’s time to take account, because creating an album is a much different endeavor than dropping singles or mixtapes. The proof, as they say, is in the pudding.
But in the end, M-Dot, met and exceeded expectations with egO anD The eneMy. The album remains potent from track one to track seventeen. There is no “fluff”. There are no trivial skits. There are no weaknesses to be found in the music.

M-Dot keeps creating and innovating with everything he does. In this industry, you have to endeavor to be different in addition to be skilled. In this manner, M-Dot sets himself apart by giving you another 360 degree video on top of giving you superlative lycism. I felt like I should throw my VR Headset on to watch this video.
The competition can’t keep pace and Ego and The Enemy drops 01/27/2017.
This is an instant hit! The beat by DJ b-Able is one of the finest productions this year. The way he works in the soulful hook and the samples makes the song feel like a mesh of soul, blues, and boom-bap. The verses by Don Streat, Gatsby The Great, and Revalation are the proverbial dynamite. Rev in particular has some serious zingers in his verse make this track a monumental eulogy.
