Chuck N Lock – Phobias (2019)

Making my triumphant return to blogging after a terrible hiatus that involved the death of my father, I bring you a legitimate headcracker with Chuck N Lock’s EP, Phobias, produced by Hobgoblin.   This is is a legitimate vicious piece of work.

I was originally only going to post a single but then realized that the song Geraniums, could not be singled out by itself.    So I am going to showcase the whole bloody project.  You’ve got Chuck N Lock’s clever and witty lyricism coupled with the notorious head not effect of producer Hobgoblin.

This is dope.  Tell me I am wrong.

Nomad Carlos x Falcon Outlaw – Duppy Mecca (Video)

Nomad Carlos made sure I bore witness to his new video single, Duppy Mecca featuring Falcon Outlaw and produced by Inztinktz.   I am glad he made me aware.   This track is tough!   Inztinktz puts together a gem of a beat here.    The drums get your head bobbing and our emcees provide testament as to the cost of the street life.

This is definitely something to put on repeat!   New project from Nomad Carlos Blxvk Desert dropping on November 20th which is 72 hours away!  Enjoy!

L’Orange & Jeremiah Jae – Behavior Report (Video)

Producer L’Orange and emcee Jeremiah Jae  put together some pretty poignant music with their recent release, Complicate Your Life With Violence.   Behavior Report is a piece of that project.   The visuals, along with the music, conveys the message of the indoctrination of violence in war.    L’Orange produces with soul, while Jae broadcasts a message through the twists and turns of rhyme.  I really felt this album, and if you are a fan of this track, I am sure you will enjoy the project in it’s entirety as well.

Ruste Juxx x Tone Spliff – Sucka Free (ft. UG) (Video)

This is my favorite track off of Ruste Juxx and Tone Spliff’s new album, Magma.   I love the guitar laden riffs that Spliff lays down.  It gives the track a nasty and dirty sound.  Keeping it grimy.    And that’s a great canvas for Juxx and UG to paint on as they are an excellent pairing to keep the suckas out of their circle.   The styles really play well off of each other.

Single You Out: Gary Rue – Down (ft. Jon Buell, El Ay, and Tone Twist)

Gary Rue is definitely someone I check for all off the strength of his first two release.  He flies under the radar and definitely deserves more recognition for the skill he displays.  Here we have a dope record featuring El Ay, Jon Buell, and Tone Twist.   Production was procured by Lob Van Beathoven and the scratches by DJ Trickalone.     This is a fresh joint the sets the stage fro Rue’s upcoming, The Burgeoning Nihlist.
