POUNDS drops a really dope joint as lyrically he tries to keep his relationship on track. And surely this song will resonate with a lot a listeners here. We’ve all been in love and had to navigate through pain and hurt. And not sure who produced the track, but I love the feel and vibe.
Single You Out: Double A.B. – All G (ft. A.L.)
It’s been a looooooooong minute since we have heard some music from Double A.B., but we don’t forget good music around these parts. This emcee has bars and has made some great music, and is apparently STILL making great music.
All G, has a mellow vibe with the twangy guitar taking front and center of the production by long time collaborator, Dub Sonata. And that chill vibe, is the perfect segue for Double A.B. to introduce, or reintroduce himself to fans. Rapping alongside our featured emcee, is A.L., who also drops a dope sixteen.
His new album, Devils & Drugs, drops on April 18th, so stay tuned for that.
Single You Out: Snotty – Gettin Bacc

New music from The Umbrella as Snotty releases the BriskFingaz produced track, Gettin Bacc. Over an eerie orchestration, Snotty delivers the message that he is coming for his in 2022 and heads better pay attention.
Single You Out: Tones x Pazi – Boom
Tones is someone I am keeping an eye out for lately. He had a dope project out last year with DJ Matty Lite called Sacred. That’s something you should check out by the way. And here, with producer Pazi, you get more of that fire and energy, served up with a healthy dope of boom bap. Love the lyricism, production, and scratches. You should too!
Casual & DEAD PERRY – Run For Cover (ft. Daniel Son, Celph Titled & J-Spliff) (Video)
Casual and Dead Perry released their album, The Art Of Reanimation, yesterday. And including this track, Run For Cover, every song has been flames. Like the other songs, I have heard and we have showcased, there is a certain darkness that comes along with listening to this album. There is also very much a horror core vibe with the visual. The track features, Celph Titled, J-Spliff, and Daniel Son on the chorus. All in all, it’s a little demented and a lot dope.

Note:
M-Dot has been showcased numerous times on our site, but the day he drops anything less than stellar, is the day his project doesn’t reach these pages. But my friends, today is not that day. For 10 plus years we rep him as an artist because of what this project, Dining In Dystopia, embodies. It is one part sheer skill and going for the jugular, and another part personal testament to what it takes to achieve this level of recognition.

Thirstin Howl III – Crime Lords (ft. Sticky Fingaz x Richie Balance) (Video)
Thirstin Howl III is back with a new cut, Crime Lords, featuring Sticky Fingaz and Richie Balance. This guy is an underground legend in my mind. I was copping his CDs whenever I found them 20 years ago. He has a unique flow and voice that you can detect instantly and here he couples that another unique talent, Sticky Fingaz. This has an old school vibe to it, that listens quite refreshingly. Enjoy!
Jus One – Who Fu#@* With Me (Video)
Team Homi representer, Jus One, just dropped some visual illness with the single Who Fu#@* With Me. And he asks that very question in this song: Who is fucking with me? And these bars are pretty damn tough, I will say. So if you step to the mic with this man, do it correctly. Love the vocal sample and the drums on this joint as well.
Skanks The Rap Martyr – Linguistics (Video)
Skanks is back with a new video single from his Bulletproof Confidence EP, produced by the incomparable Nick Wiz. And this man is ferocious with his talent. There are so many ill lines in this short song. He is dropping some sickness, and he doesn’t care if he is rapping over your heads, he’s still dropping merciless bars on your head. And what Nick Wiz does with this violin sample is release sonic chaos. This is a great song.
Single You Out: Coast LoCastro – Lord Grant Me
Bandcamp sent me word that Coast LoCastro had some newness out there, and he is a diabolical wordsmith so I thought I would give it a listen, and it is that expected dope as he asks for God’s grace so he doesn’t have to bring the harm to someone. Dope production too with neck snapping drums and guitar.
