The camp at Uncommon Records shot this over to me. Grey Matter is a different track with some spaced out production and I appreciate it because I get so tired of the same mundane beats. Pruven is a very intelligent emcee and delivers some thought provoking lines along with Billy Woods. Be sure to check it out and drop some thoughts. Grey Matter is the single to Eccentric Cohesion which is also out now.

Note:
Here is another album where I thought that the release date would never come. The lead single and title track dropped all the way back in May, but just last week we got ourselves the full length. The album is seventeen tracks in length with a couple of skits thrown in . In those fifteen actual songs there is a lot of dope rhymes and beats provided by Sketch and J-$crilla respectively.
Voli – Stress (Video)
Does anyone think it is sacrilege that I think Voli is just as good, if not better, than J.Cole? I know some of you do. I just don’t care though. The man consistently makes dope songs. He’s got strong lyrics, production, and can make a hook. I call it like I see it. You do the math and decide for yourself. But do yourself the favor and check out a collection of his works before making rash decisions. This man should definitely be making it large in the music business. Check out In The Meanwhile….
One Be Lo – Rabbit Food (Video)
Damn it. I haven’t given One Be Lo’s album enough shine. This video just rubbed it in my face. Rabbit Food is a single off of his new album L.A.B.O.R. Get that if you have not already done so.

Note:
This is easily one of my most anticipated releases of the year. Ever since I heard The Audible Doctor produced cut, Stayin’ Busy, I have wanted to hear the entire album from Silent Knight. And now that I finally have it in my hands (after waiting months upon months), I am not disappointed in the least. SK has a commanding presence on the mic and that becomes more and more apparent with each track on Busy Is My Best Friend.

Single You Out: Cold Men Young – Time Bomb
New joint from Michigan based group, Cold Men Young, and man, did they ever come through with this joint. Time Bomb is that illness from top to bottom. The production from Jay Norm is incredible and lyrically I can find no flaw in this joint. I hope you guys enjoy and appreciate!
Brown Bag AllStars – Got It All (DJ Brace Remix) (Video)
I don’t think there has been a more productive crew in 2011 than the Brown Bag AllStars. It seems like every week one of the members has something new to share. This DJ Brace remix to Got It All is my favorite track to their recently released, Brown Bag Season, Vol. 1. The video is pretty entertaining.
Final Outlaw – Invado (Video)
I have dug a few songs that Final Outlaw has done and this video hit my inbox yesterday and I thought I would share it. I love how they mad this video really dark and the flames moving in as they were burning a photograph was a really nice touch. Props to the director on that. Final Outlaw has a new project dropping shortly so you definitely want to check for that.
Locksmith – Breaking Point (Video)
One of my favorite emcees reppin’ the West Coast. Locksmith has that unique blend of ill lyricism, keen observation, and edginess. He reminds me a little bit of Ras Kass on how he appeals to a very diverse audience. Breaking Point comes off of his Free EP, I AM LOCK, which you can download here. Be on the lookout for his collaborative LP with SKIBEATZ entitled, Embedded. That drops on November 15th.
The Regiment: Battle Cry (Video)
This video for Battle Cry was released in conjunction with their album, The Panic Button, dropping yesterday. I gave it one listen yesterday and really dug the sound of it all. This song definitely bangs and if you like what you hear make sure you cop the album.
