Some visuals from Playdough’s album, Hotdoggin‘, which was highly appreciated last year on HHD. It’s a really fun album comprised of the necessary dope beats and rhymes but also riddled with messages to think upon.
Single You Out: Uncle Sam – The Learning
Uncle Sam hit me up a week or so ago with this cut of him flipping on this Havoc instrumental. I typically do not like posting emcees working over industry beats but I think he is pretty talented and wanted to share it with you all. Overall this is a good first impression. He has a nice flow and cadence.

Note:
It gets to a point where I could share every song off this mixtape as a single, but why not offer you guys the full picture of what it’s all about? And at this point I am just going to say it: This mixtape is top notch. If you want fifteen tracks that knock speakers with no filler of fru-fru material, St. Fatrick’s Day is the joint you are going to want to own.
Single You Out: Quake Matthews – Warrior Remix (ft. Freeway x Termanology)
Quake Matthews? Never heard of him. I am feeling a little ignorant tonight. I feel like he should have been on my radar with a track such as this. But damn….this track is hot. Lava rock on the grill while in the Sahara type hot. Straight off of the album, Book Of Matthew. We may have to check this out. This cut has me hype.

Single You Out: Lyriciss – Get It & Go (Remix)
Fresh off of the DJ J-Scrilla mixed project, Capitol Punishment Vol. 2. I haven’t heard the whole thing myself (computer issues), but I always associate DJ J-Scrilla with quality. So when he attaches his name to something you can bet that it will be tight and as singles go, Lyriciss brings you a gem. Check it…
Kap Kallous x Vikto Beats – I Get Down (Video)
This is the first taste of Kap Kallous and Vikto Beats joint venture, The Martian EP, which drops next Tuesday on their website. The beat on this joint has an ominous and sinister feel to it which fits Kap Kallous just right. I have copped all of Kallous’ projects and undoubtedly this will be just as good, if not better than the rest.
N.VS – First Song (Video)
It’s a short track from our newly discovered emcee, N.VS, but still nice none the less. His Focus EP will drop next month so be sure to check back for that.
Lewis Parker – Walking On A Razor (ft. Sadat X x Shabaam Sahdeeq) (Video)
This song is 100% hip hop! Sahdeeq, X, and Parker all shine on the mic but Parker’s production is the stunner on this one. I love the cuts and the vocal sample. The beat is just deep and interesting. Visually, I like the concept and the transitions were done seamlessly. If you like the track, you can DL it for free.
JR&PH7 x St. Joe Louis x Brokn Englsh: Forgot to Forget [Music Video]
Here’s another one of my favorite tracks from this year although I really didn’t anticipate the ending of this video. It is a really smooth and soulful joint but they had to bring out the knife in the end. Deadly…
ScienZe x King I Divine – Hero (Video)
I have admittedly slept on this project. I feel like I did when I slept on Rasheed Chappell’s album. Stupid. I am going to cop this tonight before I lose any more of your respect. If you are like me, and need to restore credibility, cop Divine Scienze now cuz you know this song is hot.
