This time Cayoz takes on the doubters and the naysayers over this smoothed out track. If you aren’t up on Cayoz at this point it’s time to study up. Here is a man who is showing and proving EVERY TIME he decides to unleash a track. He’s a very consistent, yet ill, emcee.
Single You Out: Pause Beats – Change That (ft. Destruct, Chaundon, Kastaway)
Pause Beats recruits some elite wordsmiths for his latest single, Change That. Destruct, Chaundon, and Kastaway drop some bars over a more laid back and jazzy vibe from producer Pause Beats. It sounds all good to me. I can’t wait for this man’s project to drop.
Single You Out: Gotham Green & Quickie Mart – Burn It Down (ft. Zeale, Jackie Tohn & Casey Abrams)
I am late to the party with this track but I wanted to share it with you anyway, just on the off chance you haven’t heard it yet. It’s one of my favorite tracks this year. DJ Quickie Mart puts together a superlative beat with congo/bongo percussion and the emcees all drop some nice gems on their verses. This song is just some feel good music with an uptempo vibe.
You can find this track on Haze Diaries Volume 4. It’s free and definitely worth your time and hard drive space.
Adlib – Balboa [Official Video]
Video single from Adlib off of his Bad Intentions album. Adlib’s got that raspy, grimy flow that just goes hard over this piano driven beat. Make sure you check out his album if you like hard hitting, no-frills rhyming, you will love that joint.

Note:
Today I bring you something entirely different type of project. The Broken Love is unlike anything I have reviewed or heard before, which is actually very refreshing. The first thing that comes to mind when I heard this project for the first time is the word taboo. I felt like was reading a blacklisted book that I was told never to touch or like Adam and Eve when they touched the forbidden tree in the Garden Of Eden. Is that too melodramatic? Perhaps. But I want you to understand, in no uncertain terms, how unique this album is.
Single You Out: DJ K.O. – Drunk Girls (ft. MadKem, Silent Knight & Jered Sanders)
New single from the EMPBeTheTeam album by DJ K.O. The emcees articulate stories about that girl who had a little too much to drink in the evening. The production mellow, perhaps even a little soulful, while lyrically it’s all just a little humorous to hear the emcees discussing their tales of the drunk girl.

Soulslicers – Stomped Out (ft Skeezo & Kaymerda) (Video)
This joint hails from the upcoming mixtape of the Swiss production team, Soulslicers. The group brings in the horns for this joint while Skeezo and Kaymerda bring some tough lyrics to the microphone.
Single You Out: Bekay – 15 Months Of Violins
Bekay has had enough! All the crazy thoughts going on in his head and the frustration of the last few months stored up, he goes for delf on his latest single. The song is edgy with no hook. Bekay just releases angst in the freshest way possible.
Enjoy…
Brown Bag AllStars – 406 (Fat Beats Tribute) (Video)
The guys pull on the heart strings of record collectors and music lovers everywhere with their dedication to Fat Beats NY, a pace where they combined talents and emerged as the artists they are today. The Audible Doctor fixes up a wonderful production which is pretty typical for him.
The team’s new EP, Brown Label Part 2, drops next Tuesday, on September 4th.
Jesse Abraham – I Ain’t Shit – I’m The Shit (Video)
I haven’t featured some Jesse Abraham material in a while and this is the perfect opportunity because this video is some type of awesome. Super creative and fun which is pretty much Abraham’s MO if you ask me. The beat and lyrics are pretty stellar as well. One thing is for certain, Jesse Abraham is one of a kind!
