New track off of Livin’ Proof’s forthcoming project, Die For A Deal. This time he teams up with grizzled battle vet, Cortez. This song is tough and you can probably tell by the title that it’s on the braggadocio tip, and when done properly, there ain’t nothing wrong with that. The production is hype and surely to make your day.
New music from the Final Outlaw. Blacklisted is a dark track from a musical standpoint and lyrically he focuses on his frustration with beurocracy, censorship, and corruption. Musically insightful. This is the first single from his forthcoming album, Unstoppable Love.
As time has passed since Hip Hop Dependency’s inception is who is consistent with their product and who is not. Numonics is consistent. He always puts together a memorable product and works with good people and this time is no different. He and Saheed have a new project dropping entitled, Not For Nothing dropping and this is the first song we are entitled to hear. Numonics brings in the horns and some soulful sampling while Saheed lets loose some angst in the freshest way possible.

I can say, without hesitation, that Ruste Juxx has been on of the most prolific artists in the last few years. He has been featured donzens of times on other people’s projects. He has been on a a blistering pace of almost releasing two albums a year and V.I.C. is his second of 2012. His first project this year was with French producer Kyo Itachi, entitled Hardbodied Hip Hop. That album was outstanding and I thought Juxx had outdone himself with that effort but, V.I.C. expounds even further on that effort, making it one of the top notch albums of 2012. I believe one of the reasons this album shines so bright is the beat selection from producer, The Arcitype. He is able to fuse different sounds together for an album that I really hadn’t heard before and that only enables Ruste Juxx to showcase even more of what he can do with the microphone.

Similar to what we did for Sean Price’s Mic Tyson album a couple of weeks ago, we will do with Roc Marciano’s album, Reloaded this week.
Marciano has kept dropping fresh material all the way up the release of this highly anticipated album and rather have you back track and find all those tracks he put out…we are going to put them all in one post. The first three tracks are singles released for the album, the remainder are just loose tracks he has put out in the last couple of months. Then end result: Hopefully you will cop the album!
Now you are going to need to know some wrestling references in order to understand the lingo. Luckily, I am so equipped. The beat on this track and while I am not familiar with Ballantine, I am certainly familiar with Godilla and Tone Liv. Ballantine certainly holds his weight on the track.
Born Unique enlists the lyrical talents of Apathy and Shabaam Sahdeeq for this joint off of his album Heathen Season. Ant Will is responsible for the beat that is laid back but at the same time provides just enough bite to give the emcees a proper for to test their wears.

AWKWORD shot this over to me while I was driving around town and finally had a chance to give it a listen. It’s definitely impressive. This is a little different than what I am used to from AWKWORD. His flow is more laid back and deliberate on this joint and it plays very well over Clementino’s production which has a player piano type vibe going. This really was not at all what I envisioned the song to sound like based upon the Homer Simpson artwork. That is deceptive…haha. Possibly one of the most innovative videos done this year to go along with the fact that it s a great song. JD Nero and Tribeca drop verses that show that they’re not going to be force fed the ideas proposed by the media over some nice production from Daveytree.
