Chaundon continues full speed ahead with another video from his album, The Jammington. Skyline really confirms that the skies the limit for this artist. Excellent wordplay throughout the song.
If you haven’t already done so, make sure that you check out my recent discography post for Chaundon so you can pick up some projects you may have missed.
Two of my favorites link up for a project entitled, CHRON: Legacy. Illmaculate stars over Lawz Spoken production. That’s going to prove an ill combination as this track shows and proves. Lyrically, it gets no better than how Illmaculate flips on this cut. His flow on here is second to none. Meanwhile, Lawz Spoken remains one of the dopest yet most unheralded producers in the game. I love the work he did on the first CHRON project with Only One and this sounds just as good if not better.
Saw this cut had Yuri Beats behind the boards and thought I would give it once through. It’s different and that’s in a good way. The production is high on BPM and on energy. It really keeps you engaged and DVS proves to be an apt lyricist with an equally rapid fire delivery.
This cut will be appearing on his upcoming project, DVTV.
The good homie, D. Strong shot this track over to me via Twitter. C.A.S.H is composed of D. Strong and Wildelux and has a hard edged, street flavor. The production on this banger is made courtesy of Lafayette Ave. The C.A.S.H EP is dropping in 2013 so if you are liking the sound of this, I am sure you will be all over that.
Regrettably I can not speak too much on this song as I am prepping a more comprehensive album review for your perusal tomorrow. All I will say is super innovative and creative from PremRock. Enjoy!
I don’t have too much information on this track and what project it might wind up on. Nor do I know too much about The Sickest Drama. But this somber, yet melodious beat from Mordecai is on point as well as the emcees lyrics and flows so it is getting posted.
I remember Phene from his previous album, God On A Greyhound. That was a solid project. I am not sure where Put That On Everything is headed in terms of a project but it is still dope. The premise is when our backs are placed up against a wall and it’s sink or swim, more often than not we find a way to swim.
I don’t honestly know what made me check this track out. I was rapidly cleaning out my inbox and clicked this link. It took a second for me to get passed the title and the name but the production is for sure a head nodder and Little Prince has some nice bars if you ask me. This is off of his forthcoming album, Little Prince and the End Of The World.
It’s ok for me to be bias, right? Of course it is! HHD is littered with my bias. But one thing I can tell you as an unequivocal truth is that C-Rayz Walz is ill. He is one of my favorite wordsmiths period. He’s in the same league to me as Ras Kass and Chino XL as a lyricist and that’s the highest praise that I can pay the man.
The highest praise he could give me? He just did in this video. Throughout the song he pays his respects to various blogs and web venues that have shown him love and low and behold, HHD is on there! It’s a great surprise and honor.
But on the merits of the video alone this deserves posting. The artistic touches and the way he “embeds” his video on the various web locations is awesome. You can find this track off of his latest album, The Code.
When EMS comes a’ knocking with new music, I am always answering the door. What we have here is a very soulful track from DC Soulplusmind and some excellent DJ skills exhibited by DJ Grazhoppa. Those two things already made this track a gem but then you add the likes of M-Dot, Famoso, and Benefitto the mic duties and you have something superlative. This track is off of the Benefit’s upcoming mixtape, Timing Of the Godfather.
