Single You Out: WateRR x Wavy Da Ghawd – Where Would I Be

Waterr and Wavy Da Ghawd are coming together artistically to drop a new project on Febraury 1st, entitled, Washed Ashore. And with the single, Where Would I Be, you can definitely catch the vibe of what’s come. There’s something very soothing about this single and a little bit of an escape for the listener, as Wavy transports you with this production while Waterr creatively asks the question: Where would I be without music?

Definitely a vibe.

M-Dot – You and You (ft. Revalation) (prod. by M-Phazes (Video)

M-Dot and Revalation team up for some good chemistry on a funky production from none other than M-Phazes! It’s been a minute since I have heard some new production from M-Phazes and this is some definite feel-good hip-hop music. And while M-Dot’s last album had some very serious tones in it, this joint has that levity and lyrical fire power that just makes you crack a smile.

New album, Daze Of Greed dropping within a couple months time!

Single You Out: J Rawls & Cas Metah – Glory (ft. Scribbling Idiots)

If you want some dope hip hop with meaning, look no further than Cas Metah and J. Rawls new project, Criminal Blinded. Man, this project is so good, and needs to be showcased. The production is amongst the best I have heard this year. Honestly, maybe among the best I have heard in the last SEVERAL years. And Cas Metah and all of his guest spots sound really immaculate on this project. It’s really hard to pick a favorite track from this joint. They are all so damn good. But the song Glory, featuring the Scribbling Idiots, really stuck out to me. These guys have always been masters of incorporating religion and spirituality in their music without sounding holier than thou. Catch the music and the message!

M-Dot – Done (prod. by Apollo Brown) (Video)

M-Dot is back with another video for his Apollo Brown produced single. Done. This is arguably my favorite track from one of my favorite emcees. M-Dot and Apollo Brown take the audience to school on the quick and dirty way to make it in the industry versus actually staying true to your talent, values, and continuing to work hard. This is testimony to two careers in hip hop that have made distinctive names for themselves by sticking to their path and creating their own their own formula. Brilliant in every form and fashion and can be found on the album, Ego and the Enemy 2: A Dissolute Paradise.

Single You Out: DJ Low Cut – Navy (ft. Crimeapple) b/w Last Day (ft. Daniel Son)

Always down for new music with DJ Low Cut! This guy laces nothing but bangers and it’s so good to see him with some new music. And wow this single is so fucking good! Both songs, Navy with Crimeapple, and Last Day with Daniel Son, knock hard. I would be hard pressed to put a better two songs together from one artist in 2023. This is a MUST listen. Praise due to DJ Low Cut.
