Kue The Vandal and Dope Antelope are kicking the music into a high gear. When you hear this song do you feel the Apocalypse coming on? It sounds like it was made at death’s door it is so ominous. This emcee and producer combination is really working well. The two feed off of each other very well creatively. The new EP should hopefully be here very soon. I was peeping Mic Blaque’s newest release, Respect The Cool, because I just got a PR release for it (a few months late but whatever). This is the first track from the project and I knew instantly that I had to feature this joint. When I went searching, I saw that there was a video for this and it was a no-brainer to share. This track has a high dope factor. I played it so loud I saw my next door neighbor bobbing his head to the beat. I like the way the track just keeps building the ferocity. Hopefully you like it as much as I do.
Good lawd! Two things: Reks flow and wordplay on this track are microphone phenomenal! And in case you didn’t know, 54 pertains to the amount of bars Reks just dropped on you. The second item up for discussion is when was hte last time you heard a producer absolutely KILL IT with a dusty horn sample?!? Hazardis Soundz just did that to you…wow.
New collaborative album from the artists is due out sometime this spring (ambiguous, I know) entitled Eyes Watching God.
I missed this video when it dropped a few weeks ago. This song is lifted and visualized from The Narcicyst’s new EP WeAreTheMedium which is available for Free Download (so why not?) I always find the man’s music and videos compelling and interesting. Also Meryem Saci shows that she’s just not another pretty face (or your average type, haha)…the girl packs a verbal arsenal. Dope song.

Verbal Kent released the album Sound Of The Weapon yesterday. The album is completely produced by Khrysis but the title track is given the 9th Wonder Remix treatment. The remix adds a dash more soul to the original making the song even more heart felt.
Finally, the new Pawz One album, Face The Facts, has dropped and to add fuel to the fire he enlists the services of Bean Town spitter, Termanology and C-Arson provocateur, Ras Kass to spit over this Default production.

L*Roneous had told me that he had some new music coming soon and to my pleasant surprise Bandcamp sent me an email a couple of weeks ago that one of my favorites had dropped another project. This time the project, Utopian Blues, is a collaborative effort between L*ron and 2bers. I was skeptical at first because sometimes these pairings can go terribly wrong. L*Roneous is a high level emcee and not knowing who 2Bers was left me a little incredulous. So many times you get a high caliber artist who reaches below his skill level in a collaboration. That’s really not the case here. This is more of a blending of strengths rather than a disparity in talent. It’s actually one of the most melodic releases I have heard in a while.
I featured the single for this cut about four months ago but now we get the video single and of course we will share that too. This is in my opinion the best track off of Reckonize Real’s album, Dopamine. Mayhem and Reks rip on a very addictive rhythm. It’s a song you can play over and over without it getting old.
It’s a dope new track from producer/emcee, Muneshine. The production from Presto is flammable and the rhymes make you want to get up and go get it (whatever “it” might be for you). It’s certainly high energy and can be found on Muneshine’s forthcoming album, IN TRANSIT. The visuals are also very well done, I must say.
