I am guessing this is just a snippet of the single from Domingo’s upcoming album, Same Game New Rules. It may just be a fraction of the song but it’s certainly noteworthy when you hear this beat with Nutso and Ras Kass spitting bars over it! Blao!
Rayce – Fault Lines (Video)
Rayce continues to impress with his intricate wordplay and keen ear for great production. I have heard three tracks from Rayce and all of them have been solid. There’s a lot going on lyrically on this track and one thing you know for sure is that with Rayce’s turn of phrase, he has the true heart of a poet. He’s got that Henry Wadsworth Longfellow type flow. Think on it!
Check out Racye’s latest EP, A Travelling Man. I am about to go in on it right now.
Esh & Arc – Werewolves Anonymous (Video)
Not too many artists are willing to tackle the topic of Werewoloves…as a matter of fact, I can only think of two artists: Esh & Arc. But they do it incredibly fresh. The beat by The Arcitype is a calculated frenzy while Esh tells some ghoulish tales with poignant flow. The video is also well done as the director meshes a horror movie montage with Esh doing his thing on cam.
I constantly check back and listen to their collaborative EP, Nightworks. It’s that damn good!
Single You Out: eMC – Charly Murphie
eMC (Mast Ace x Stricklin x Wordsworth x Punchline) are readying the release of their new EP, The Turning Point. The project is due out May 20th. Charly Murphie is the first single from the project and it utilizes a dope hip hop adaptation of the nursery rhyme, Three Blind Mice, some Dave Chappelle sound bytes, and some incredible flows from the emcees. Really talented group of artists here! (First seen on 2DopeBoyz)

Heesun Lee X FreeStyle Fam – Total BS Episode7 (Video)
I don’t really like to put up these ‘episodes’ on the blog. I would rather artists just craft the song and let people give a listen. But Heesun Lee and and Freestyle Fam have really left me no choice. The sheer level of skill prevented in this video is undeniable. The flows are nasty.
I wasn’t really up on Heesun Lee but I can say that I am a fan now. Freestyle Fam continues to offer up ill flow after ill flow. I can’t wait to hear an album.
Born Allah & Erule – Dub Fritterz (ft. Black Suga) (Video)
Let me be frank here: If Born Allah and Erule dropped anything, no matter what, it would get posted here. Legends! They are some of my favorite rhymers and bring that classic sound back to the mic. This particular track is coming off of the Dub Fritterz EP. Other than that, I don’t know too much about it. I can only hope there is more music on the way because it’s been waaaayyy too long. Recognize!
Jermiside and Danny Diggs – Bloodline (Video)
This is a great song off of Jermiside and Danny Diggs’ album, Quiet As Kept. In my mind, Bloodlines is a track that requires one to at one’s past so they can move forward in their future. A really introspective track from an artist that has a knack of making his listeners think.
Single You Out: Swerve – All By Myself (Remix)
Swerve offers us a remix of his track, All By Myself. The joint is the epitome of smooth. But that’s really what Swerve has become known for…dropping smooth joints that you let marinate and soak in. The original of this particular track can be found on Cold Winters & Warm Whiskey 2. Please do check that out.
Comet – Live Out The Trap (Video)
Comet releases a single, NOT from his forthcoming album, Mr. Rugby. This beat is a subtle banger. It creeps on you and then all of the sudden you have your neck snapping. Be on the lookout for more music from Comet in the near future.
Verbal Kent – Body The Beat (Video)
Sound Of The Weapon from Verbal Kent and Khrysis are in full effect! I am not sure which number single this is from the album. They have released several, but with each release, video or otherwise, they articulate how dope the project is. Make sure you give it a listen!
