It’s so good to hear that we have some new music from Torae on the way. He’s teaming up with producer Praise for an upcoming EP entitled, All Praise Due. And Take Notes, as the first offering, is an energetic reawakening for those that have slumbered on the man’s talents. I mean, Torae, really is a God-given talent for hip-hop. He has a total command for his craft and Praise generates something powerful with this anthem, which makes perfect use of a Biggie sample
Recognize Ali – Until That Day (Video)
Who is having a better year than Recognize Ali when it comes to the music? You would be hard pressed to find someone who has released as many dope records and been featured on as many dope cuts. The work ethic the Ali demonstrates is top notch among his peers. So watch and listen to that man work and drop life philosophy on his latest video from the project, The Outlawed.
Single You Out: Grime Lords – Shyne (ft. Milano Constatine x Recognize Ali)

I was just asking about this project the other day and it appears that the Grime Lords are dropping Wimbledon Dons, on October 10th so we are just a few days away from this goodness. Everything I have heard from Born Unique and Pete Twist has been absolute fire and the track Shyne, featuring Milano Constatine and Recognize Ali is exactly that…fiya! The cut has some tough bars, which you undoubtedly expect with this line up and Twist can certainly lace the bangers. Make no mistake about it, when this project drops, it’s going to drop heavy!
Rasheed Chappell – My Epic (Video)
Rasheed Chappell’s new album with producer Kenny Dope, First Brick, is going to garner plenty of consideration for Album Of The Year. And rightfully so. Every well-executed track seems laid together perfectly up against the other. It is laid together in much the same fashion as Nas’ Illmatic, in 1993. Quite the comparison, huh?
Well on this track, My Epic, Chappell puts his life on display for all to see through his music over the drums and horns of Kenny Dope.
Respect!
Single You Out: Snake Hollywood – Boondock Saints (ft. Mic Geronimo x Metaphor The Great)

Here’s some newness from one of my favorite artists who we simply don’t hear enough from. Snake Hollywood just has one of strongest voices and presence when it comes rocking a mic, and sometimes we forget that, until we hear him yet again. Well here he is rocking over a banging production from NYBangers along with emcees Mic Geronimo and Metaphor The Great. See if you hear what I hear…the extension of a masterpiece being formed.
Single You Out: John Jigg$ – Barz Ova BS (ft. NBS)

New music from John Jigg$ featuring N.B.S. rocking over some soulful production from Supa Dave. Jigg$ is having a stellar year musically and you can’t go wrong linking up with the rhyme vets from Boston. All in all, this is pretty stellar.
Cymarshall Law – The Warning (ft. AceWonda) (Video)
I just listened to Cymarshall Law’s album, Imperfectly Perfect, a few days ago in it’s entirety and it’s really dope! And The Warning is certainly one of the standout cuts from the project. This production is on some old Wu-Tang type steez and both Law and cohort AceWonda do the effort justice with some pretty intricate rhyme flows and flips. This cut and project are definitely a couple of steps above what the masses are doing.
I strongly suggest you check this project out!
Single You Out: The Cult Leaders – War On Drugs

Matlock and Dreamtek are collaborating under the new pseudonym of The Cult Leaders and they are making some great music as far as I am concerned, with their release of the single War On Drugs. The song narrates the use of all different type of narcotics by the two emcees over this 60s (I am guessing here) rock infused rhythm. It’s really dope all the way around.
Let’s hope we get more of this!
One Dae – Debut b/w No Daze Off (Video)
One Dae is dropping some new music and I have rocking with him since the Fire For Hire Mixtapes. He’s always had a great flow and you can hear that in his new music as well. He hit us with a combo deal video single featuring songs Debut and No Daze Off.
These are off his new project Words As Weapons dropping later this year. As soon as I have a solid release date I will surely post it.
Single You Out: SageInfinite x Won87 – N.S.A.

Highlighting another dope project that just released a couple of days ago, SageInfinite and Won87’s Sleeper Cell. The project is a gritty one the details an assortment of terrorist incidents, policies, and restrictions on personal freedoms. I think it’s a poignant piece of work implemented with a maximum amount of dope. Certainly, something you should all check out.
The track N.S.A. details how that very government entity has restricted our privacy and our freedoms. It is a bonus cut that closes out the project and my personal favorite. I hope you enjoy.
