Ransom, Conway The Machine, & V Don – Nefarious (Video)

This is quite the memorable track from Chaos Is My Ladder 2 and the video really does do this justice. Nefarious is a conversation that Ransom has with Lucifer. V Don gives this track a minimalist yet haunting feel, while Ransom handles the questions and the answers from both parties in an incredible lyrical fashion. If the devil made himself present to you, how would the conversation go?

This is lyrical genius. And the video is probably one of the best this year. The effects were so well done and the actor who portrayed Lucifer was sinisterly on point.

Gives me chills.

Starvin B – Wo Hop (prod. by DJ Flash) (Video)

Anything Starvin B drops is an auto-cop. I am sure I have said this before. This time he is backed on the beat and the cuts by DJ Flash. And this track, Wo Hop, is certified heat. The beat matched with Starvin B’s seemingly unstoppable flow will have this one on repeat for a while. I hope this means there’s a new project heading in my direction. I really love this track and this one bar resonated hard with me.

You can tell some / People don’t love you for you / They love you to help em’

Pro Dillinger & Futurewave – Say So (Video)

Pro Dillinger and Futurewave not only are among the most talented in their respective crafts but they are two of the hardest working artists in the industry. They are relentless in putting out some of the best music we have heard in 2024 and they united for one of the best projects this year in Dirtwave, Vol. 1. On the joint Say So, you hear Futurewave bringing that magic on the boards (best way I can describe it, a style unto itself), and Dillinger delivering gritty bars, telling you that he is in full control of what he’s doing. This is a tremendous project. Don’t sleep!

Sparkingtin – One Man Army (ft. Craig G) (Video)

This is what this site was built on and what this site is about! This is a track you NEED to hear but we need to push the word! A lot of you might not know about Sparkingtin, but I do. And I take pride in that. He had a track with the Soulslicers back in 2011 when I first started writing, called Punch You In The Face For No Apparent Reason. That song STILL sounds so good and holds the test of time. But what I didn’t know is that he was still making music! And then I hear this joint with Craig G, One Man Army. And this track shows that same hunger and boom bap flavor as he had nearly fifteen years ago. This track is super dope and produced by Arden Keys. It makes me want to cop that new album, Hidden Talents.
