Vagabonds – Predictions (Video)

The Vagabonds put out an album called, Good Neighbors, in January.   I gave the album a listen and I enjoyed it a lot.  Unfortunately  I haven’t given it the shine it deserves.  But the group gave me another chance by putting the visuals out there for the track, Predictions.  It’s a dope track and indicative of what you can expect from the rest of the album.

You can download the album for FREE and you can cop the single on ITUNES.

N.B.S. – Champions (Video)

When you think of good chemistry between rhyming partners on the mic, you all should start thinking about N.B.S. These emcees are on point.  This song an video show and prove.  Definitely start looking for some of their music.  You can cop their latest album, The Prelude, on Itunes.  You can also check out DatPiff for some of their free mixtapes. They are definitely worth checking into.  The Boston scene is heavy with lots of talented emcees, but do not pass on these artists.  You will regret it.

Freeway, Omar Offendum, The Narcicyst, Ayah, Amir Sulaiman – #Jan25th (Video)

When hip hop is expressive and relevant it is at it’s best.  You really can not get anymore relevant than this track and video footage that reflect the political and social change that started on January 25th in Egypt.  It’s a very powerful piece.   In addition, all of these artists have created a dope presentation of the events that transpired.

You can also download the track HERE.

Nu Revolution Camp – Pressure Cooker (Video)

Don’t be slow on the uptake on this one!  Nu Revolution Camp is comprised of some of the DMV’s finest emcees.  Specifically it consists of Wordsmith, Black Knight, Kontact, and Whitefolkz.  This cut is taken off of their newly released mixtape, Super Hero Theme Music Vol. 1.  I just got done listening to the project in it’s entirety and I have to say that it is EXCELLENT.  I hope to be able to review it here soon.  If you like what you hear on this song, please DL it.  It’s got some infectious jawns.

Poetic Death – Hamlet (Video)

I have one Poetic Death album in my collection, apparently the man will soon have nine in his discography when he releases Shakespeare Science.  That’s pretty prolific in my opinion.  Poetic Death is an artist who is hitting planes of content that few venture upon.  Hamlet is a dark track asking questions probably most of us don’t want to know the answer to.  I am going to try and get more information on Poetic Death and his new release.  Meanwhile you can check out his website HERE.
