We dropped the single for this cut not all that long ago. Blaq Poet now releases the video which is a montage of a variety of flicks to reflect the verses of the song. There are too many scenes to list. The song of course stands on it’s own merits. You can’t go wrong in having Vinnie Paz, Chino XL, and Spit Gemz on your track. That’s a win every time. Blaq Death is slated for a November 12th release date. Make sure you check for that.
This is coming straight off of Term’s G.O.Y.A. project. And when they call out hard body hip hop this is to which they refer. Sheek Louch and Lil Fame each our contributors to this cut, which leads me to mention two things:
1) Termanology is spitting some of the best bars of his career right now. I have heard him deliver several dope cameos and this album really is the culmination of that dope sound.
2) Lil Fame has to be considered one of the most consistent emcees EVER. He’s been spitting this dope shit through two decades and hasn’t changed one iota.

Next Tuesday, Sivion will be releasing his new album, Group Therapy. I have gotten several promo videos for the project which I thought were dope (but I refrain from putting up promo material). Now we get the first full length video for the cut Ladies and Gentlemen. It’s an fun and uptempo jam produced by TheARE with Sivion dropping clever lyricism and dope references.
Quadir Lateef lets loose a video off of his critically acclaimed project, Fool’s Gold. The track of the title is lengthy and the words within inspire the potency of all those great revolutionaries mentioned. It’s not too often that someone brings this much meaning and intent behind his words, but get used to it because that’s what Lateef is all about…meaning, intent, and action.
This video gives me the creeps. For those of you not up on your theology, Legion is a demon that is actually mentioned in the Bible that actually is confronted by Jesus and cast out. The imagery in this piece is disturbingly intriguing. I premiered Sleep many months ago with his song Leonidas. I thought he was not only dope but also unique. This cut only strengthens the argument as he is speaking as the voice of the Satan. The production comes from Dope Antelope.
Wyld Bunch drops his new video for, I Do Not Fail, which features Hannibal Stax. Wyld Bunch has a high energy persona when he rocks the mic and that really shines through on a track like this while Hannibal Stax provides good counter balance. mOh and you liked the beat too? When it comes to being innovative and creative nobody does it like Mayday!. They create good music that appeals to all tastes. There sound visits aboveground, underground, and all layers in between. Don’t ask me how I missed this, but I did. Pharaohe Monch and Prince Po are back at it like they never left over this crisp Marco Polo cut from his forthcoming album, PA2: The Director’s Cut. These guys are the masters of that intricate wordplay. I mean they literally birthed that shit. Pay homage.
This is the best ullnevano track I have heard to date. This is something I could easily leave on repeat and not grow tired of. It seems like Logic Marselis is on some ‘I-Am-Going-To-Make-The-Beat-Of-The-Year‘ type shit. Wow, The production really is some of the best work I have heard in 2013. Sometimes I take for granted the music made by some of the more established HHD artists and this is a lesson learned. Just as soon as you think they hit the pinnacle, they drop some next level music for your ears!
