Local-Mu12 is on the move! Possibly my favorite camp doing it right now. They have such diverse styles and those styles give birth to this track, Welcome to Local-Mu12 produced by Real McKoy. The song is one of those subtle bangers that don’t overtly make your head bob, but then by the end of the track you realize your neck is sore. You can cop the collective album, Labor Day, for a full feel as to what the crew has to offer.
Apathy intermingling that traditional boom bap with Masonic mysticism. I am loving the production. from Smoke The World, and the rhyme content from Ap. The album, Connecticut Casual, drops on June 3rd. Can’t Wait.

Skeezo continues his run of releasing tight music, this time unleashing a video single for Hudson Valley Renegade. The track has that authentic boom bap feel to it that has become the trademark of Skeezo. You can find this track off of his most recent EP, Stuck In The 90’s.
Madchild is taking no days off when it comes to releasing new music. A few months after releasing Lawnmower Man, the Swollen Members emcee, releases a video single for his upcoming album, Super Beast, which is due out later this year.
Anytime you can skateboard and do flips while flowing, you are going to get someone’s attention. Hence the case with Illuminate’s new video, Kamikaze. It’s an appropriate title for a track that approaches upon rapid fire delivery and reckless abandon. There’s not much in the way of conformity here. I am not going to say that this was a flawless performance. I would honestly like to hear Illuminate kick some verses without the double time, but I certainly can see the talent that abounds. We will keep our ears on this MTSU student’s future endeavors.
Sick Digger Crew in the building! There is so much right going on with this release from Crown (of Grim Reaperz) and Rasco. The beat is amazing with the piano keys just dancing across the hard hitting drum pattern. And let me be honest: It’s been a long time since I have listened to some bars from Rasco and he KILLED his verses. The flow was magnifique. The icing on the cake was Chinch 33 providing the cuts. That man is vastly underrated, but true heads know!

It’s a hustle and a grind, and it’s time to prove the naysayers and the haters what’s what…that’s what I am taking from this video single from Otis Clapp. The track is a high energy, rock infused joint that really easy to get into. Very entertaining. I also need to go on record and say I missed the #Fiona cut he dropped many moons ago, and that song is one of the top tracks this year…no doubt. Rayce continues to put in work creating new music and videos. Continuum is the lead up to his soon to be released EP, A Travelling Man EP. I am truly surprised more blogs haven’t caught onto the talent of Rayce. This track is very creative in the way that it slows down in the chorus and then picks right up when the verses start…hence the name, Continuum.
