RJ PAYNE – Intro (Video)

RJ Payne is on a tear and we have that fever developed and come to a head in the form of his new album, Square Root Of A Kilo.    This Intro is a brief synopsis into who Payne is an artist/man, where he came from, and I trust you can see where he is going with this.

Everyone is talking about him, and they are ALL saying the same things.  This man is the real deal as an artist and he is grinding harder than anybody out to make sure we all know it.

I just copped the album today, and hope that everyone else will jump on that to support his art.

Flee Lord – Perfect Plate (ft. 38 Spesh) (Video)

Flee Lord and 38 Spesh just concocted up some viciousness in the lab with their project, Loyalty and Trust.   Now Spesh really just handles the boards for the most part, but on this cut he drops a sixteen and I think we all know he is bringing it heavy-handed EVERY time.  The man is just delivering on everything he touches.  He and Flee Lord do some damage on this track, Perfect Plate.  My favorite joint from the album.

Ty Farris – Say My Name (Video)

I haven’t been able to check the new Ty Farris and Trox album, Room 29 Part 2.   But this song certainly makes me want to do this sooner than later.   Embarrassingly enough, I don’t think I have heard the first one which means I am slipping in serious ways over here.   So I have a lot of making up to do but this track is really dope in all facets so we should all be making the move to cop the album.

Nature & BP – Stop Frontin (Video)

New video up for Nature and producer BP, Stop Frontin.  Really just got word that the project, Laws Of Nature, was a reality when it hit the digital shelves but I didn’t waste any time picking up.  As emcee and producer are known and dope commodities in the hip hop game.  Nature has been dropping dope bars for decades and BP has been buzzing with some stellar production (previous to this with the likes of Tragedy Khadafi).

Can’t wait to check this album out in its entirety.   This song is certainly nice!

Daniel Son x Futurewave – Waffle Brunch (Video)

Daniel Son and Futurewave have killed it yet again with their recent album collaboration, Yenaldooshi.  This album is full of gems just like this.  Futurewave layers some mellow and boom bap for Daniel Son to put out something memorable with lines just like this.  He’s always in the pocket:

“Maybe you’ll get signed if you tag Conway a hundred times…”

“It’s a sad sight….the devil wouldn’t buy your soul for half price…”

“Gave your life to this shit…and then the shit forgot ya…”

Showbiz x Milano Constatine – Get Chips (Video)

Milano Constatine and famed producer Showbiz dropped their much-anticipated album, Boulevard Author yesterday and this song (video) is quite indicative of what you will find on the album as a whole.

Constatine has been a highly sought after artist for the last few years and you can see why here.  He’s at the top of his game here, narrating street perspectives, and corner commentary as someone who has lived it.  He does such with an almost effortless flow over that premium production Showbiz has made his name on for the last three decades.

Definitely, check the album!
