Single You Out: Icon Curties – German Beer (ft. Daniel Son)

Overseas producer Icon Curties just unleashed a project, Modus Operandi, in which he produces ten beautiful tracks from most of my favorite emcees doing it.  And, let me be honest (as if that’s sometimes not the case) but I really feel like everything Daniel Son is touching right now becomes fire.  So here, yet again, is another feature including him.  Check out the cut, and rest assured that if you like what’s going on here, you are definitely going to want this album in your collection.

Single You Out: Evolve – Heroin (ft. Chino XL)

Emcee Evolve links up with revered wordsmith, Chino XL for the record, Heroin. This is appropriate because the track is highly addictive.  The beat by Swab out of the UK is just pure fire.

Evolve also does a good job of holding his own with a lyrical heavyweight such as Chino. This track is off of Evolve’s forthcoming project, Be My Guest.  If the project is half as good as this heat rock, it will be an auto-cop on my part!

Single You Out: Blame One – Frontin’ Foes

blameOneFF-1

Here’s some new music from Blame One produced by Veks entitled Frontin’ Foes.  The joint’s got a smooth vibe, and Blame One flows so effortlessly over the production.  It’s laid back goodness, with nuggets of wisdom, and keen insight, mingled throughout.

I have always really liked Blame One.  His art speaks to me and thankfully a new album is seemingly on the way soon.

Single You Out: Nomadic – Quite Like This

nomadic

Who possibly isn’t going to like this joint here?   Nomadic channels the Golden Era of hip and drops more than just a little gem here.   He has crazy flow and lyricism and when you combine this beat which is reminiscent of Pete Rock, you have audio gold.

I can tell from listening to just half of his album, The Journey, that Nomadic is a super talented artist and someone we should be watching out for in the future.   But for now, enjoy his present endeavors.
