DJ Rybe cooks up a slow burner in the kitchen and has Recognize Ali and Adrian Adonis add some solid sixteens to the concoction. Pretty dope if you ask me. Rybe’s last project, Channel Zero was really dope. Maybe he’s got some new dope on the horizon.
I wanted to share some of this music from the Gasol Sauce project by emcees Sauce Heist, Jamal Gasol, and producer Dirty Diggs. I was pretty skeptical about dropping 18 bones on a project of this length. But what the tracks lack in length, they make up for in quality.
This is really good music! Blood Thicker Den Water is my favorite track as Diggs uses this violin sample to perfection as it wraps around and intertwines between Heist and Gasol’s tough sixteens.
I think you’ll agree with me on this one. Check out the track and consider copping the album if you are loving.
The latest single from Jedi Mind Tricks’ forthcoming release, The Bridge & The Abyss could be their best yet. Stoupe’s piano laced rhythm provides that dark landscape for Vinnie Paz to lace tailor-made hard bars for the occasion.
This album is shaping up to be among the hardest of the year. Every track has been hella tough.
Elucid teams up with producer Dumhi for some jazzy boombap flavor. The music is interesting, intelligently written and delivered, and really just unique. I am really enjoying this cut, as it represents something sincere and refreshing.
If you are digging this, they just released a new project entitled No Edge Ups In Uganda, that I am bound to check out in it’s entirety.
Enough already! Someone get me a Blak Flag x Sherm Larock album…stat!!! This is one hell of a combination any time they get together and make a record…they just don’t do it enough for my liking. These guys have the chemistry and skill to create an AWESOME if not CLASSIC album. The dark production and fire lyricism flow and voice make this a hell of a cut. I could listen to this all night.
German producer, Klaus Layer crafts a certain head knocker with this single, Force, featuring The Artifacts and Blu. It’s an interesting combination when these artists collaborate but it blends extremely well. Layer really hits those drums hard, and the track just has lots of flavor indeed.
This track will be featured on Layer’s upcoming project, Lost Track.
Baltimore producer, DBA, puts together a beat that proves to be a stalker. It’s a little ominous, perhaps a little unsettling. It’s like listening to a horror movie score and not know what’s coming around the corner. Except in this case it’s the raw lyrics from Recognize Ali and Born Unique, which sound really good on a track together.
This cut will be surfacing on DBA’s project, Official Crate Music, which is do out a little later this year.

Milano Constatine’s forthcoming album, Attache Case, is easily one of our most anticipated projects of 2018. Producer Oh Jay captures darkness and turns it into cascading boom bap, giving Constatine the audio sinister necessary to rip a seriously refined and dope flow. This guy is a consummate professional.
I am not exactly sure when this is due out but you best believe when it drops, it shall be owned. You should make a similar promise.
Not super up on Eclyse, but I am definitely familiar with Daniel Son and Recognize Ali. I actually had to delay posting this because Daniel Son was popping up on all kinds of singles. Dude is working hard.
All in all, pretty dope track with Lost Beatz on production and cutz by DJ TMB.
Another personal favorite of mine is back to making music. Over the past few years there have been a few sightings of K-Beta dropping a verse or two but now it seems he is engaged in a full resurgence which is great for us hip hop fans, because the man is supremely talented.
