Grieves’ music always resonates with me. His perspectives on relationships and life just hit home. And this is yet another song of his that I will have on repeat for quite sometime.
I can’t even hear em’ anymore…don’t even make a difference at all?

“I’m just a product of stories untold…” and so the song goes. Foul Monday and SPNDA go in over some dope…almost troubador-esque production from Prete Rosso which is pretty fitting. Really nice joint to share with you on this Saturday.

This is what the world needed right now…K-Beta connecting with DJ J-Scrilla for this fire yet, deeply personal and introspective track. Which really, in turn, makes it even more personal. This make is some extremely powerful material that Beta is talking about here, and Scrilla utilizing this Styx loop over these drums really conveys the point.
Can’t wait to hear more.

Reks and Little Vic get busy over a fresh production for the single, Reversed Latin. The lyricism and cadence of each emcee is complimentary, making this short track packed with quotables such as this one from Vic.
You ain’t got no fucking power here / Try to wrestle my thoughts , leave em’ cauliflower ear

First single from Waterr and Farmabeats new project which is dropping on 02/22/2019. This is smooth and yet haunting at the same time. Waterr and guest Ty Farris navigate the dark corners of Farmabeats’ production, with survival tactic and the differential for what it takes to make it in the hustle.
DZ The Unknown and C-Lance channel the darkness and cook up a witches brew of sobering effect. The dark strings, guitar, and sample provide ample shadow for DZ’s Inner Demons.
I have heard now two songs from the forthcoming project, Observe and Adapt, and I am looking forward to it greatly.

This track is a couple weeks old (nearly) but it’s going to get a proper feature on here because I am really feeling this combination of Lee Ricks on the mic and BigBob on the boards. Ricks articulates the travails of life and BigBob interweaves the iconic AZ song from the 1990s to perfection between bars. LDontheCut providing the scratches. Love this!

Him-Lo of Da Buze Bruvaz links up with the acclaimed producer Giallo Point for this track that utilizes one of the most recognizable Ol’ Dirty Bastard samples from the Wu-Tang Clan’s first and classic album. The aggressive vibe and lyricism displayed on the track do ample justice to the sample.
It’s a tough track from the forthcoming album, OJ Glovez. The title and the artwork amuse me to no end by the way. Should be dope!
New single from Jay Royale rocking over a beat from Slumlord and with scratches from DJ Grazzhoppa. You also have the shooter Supreme Cerebral dropping a sure shot sixteen bars. The track has a very movie score vibe to it with the strings and sound effects and the emcees treat the track like they are a tag team ready to run down the competition. Really dope track!

I was reminded today when B Leafs’ new album, The Horizon, dropped this morning that I had yet to post this incredibly dope single. The talent level incorporated with the likes of Elzhi, Ras Kass, M-Dot, and Large Professor is going to be hard to surpass when it comes to lyrical firepower.
I am a little better than halfway through the whole project by the way and it’s solid! But this the marquee moment thus far through my listen.
