New joint from Serge Severe which is an autobiographical narrative as to how the artist made his climb to the position that he is in today. It’s a soulful joint, and it has an ethereal quality to the music. Severe is doing what he does best and that’s connecting with people through music. He is giving you something you can relate to in the most beautiful of ways. Reyna Mallare plays the songstress and producer Haze Felix laces the beat.
Single You Out: Little Vic – Roy Demeo (prod. by Erick Sermon)

I missed this Little Vic track from over a week ago, but it deserves A LOT of love. This joint produced by Erick Sermon is sounding all sorts of epic! Sermon’s production here is nothing short of remarkable. I love the horn sample and the drums hit hard. Vic then demolishes the track with wordplay that only he’s capable of putting together. I mean he is flipping on names on this track that will have you rewinding and playing back again. You can’t say that about too much material these days!
Single You Out: Ill Bill x Stu Bangas – Hulk Meat (ft. Goretex)

Ill Bill and Stu Bangas have a project dropping this coming Friday, Cannibal Hulk. This is a single from that very project that features longtime collaborator and friend, Goretex. It’s dark, creepy, and maybe even a little sadistic…which is alright with me.
Single You Out: Diabolic x Vandeslice – Think Of That

Oh yea! Diabolic is back and as ruthless as ever when on the mic. He has so many quotables it’s hard to keep up with and I have been a fan of his from probably over a decade ago. And he feels right at home flippin’ on this production from Vanderslice. That’s a good thing considering they have an album called Collusion dropping on April 12th.
Single You Out: Dirt Platoon – Hand To The Man (prod. by Low Cut)

Some newness from the almighty Dirt Platoon and you know they are coming for heads on this track produced by DJ Low Cut. This pairing of emcees continues to prove to be a great combination. Low Cut has an outstanding knack for creating bangers and the Platoon has that certified roughness to make the most of the effort.
This track is off of the newly release Parimore EP. You should definitely cop!
Single You Out: Cayoz Da Emcee x Mic Handz – Not Hiding (Prod. By: Sojourn)

Some new music from The Animal Gang’s, Cayoz Da Emcee and Mic Handz rocking over some production from Sojourn. I really like the choppy and staccato nature of the track. The piano chops and the drums really hit hard and I like how they fade in certain parts of the emcees’ verses which are strong to say the least. This is definitely a track to get you hype this Sunday morning!
Single You Out: Jack Jones – Ghost in a Shell (ft. Prince Po and Spectac)

Audyssey (Mass Influence, Soundsci) is Jack Jones and he has a new album, The Fix, out that I want to showcase with some immediacy. I haven’t listened to the whole thing yet, but after hearing this track with Prince Po and Spectac, you are gonna wanna cop just like I did. This joint has a high degree of lyrical integrity and meaning which is complemented by some dope yet therapeutic production from, Tris Ol’English’ Browne.
So let’s all reach a consensus and embrace the dope! Don’t tell me you don’t love it!
Single You Out: Mav Montana x Rigz x Illanoise x Spittzwell – Legend

How about this new-new from Da Cloth fame (Mav Montana and Rigz) along with Illanoise and Spittzwell? It’s a subdued joint production wise with light piano keys in the background but the emcees definitely do their thing, each narrating their particular street tale.
Really dope.
Single You Out: Grieves – Games (ft. Greater Than)
Grieves is back with some newness, and I have actually been sharing a lot of craft about town locally these days. He just has that knack for hitting on feelings and issues that everyone has gone through at some point. A maestro of emotion we shall call him. So enjoy this new cut with his brethren Greater Than as they involve that crazy chick we have all grown to love to hate haha.
Single You Out: Ca$ablanca – Anarchy ’99 / The Wynd / Rush Hour (ft. Supreme Cerebral)

Late last night, I was speaking on Twitter about how Ca$ablanca is one of the hardest working talents in hip-hop and there’s no better way to solidify that point with this post.
I have here three incredibly dope yet different singles he has put out within the last month…and since I am little behind in posting I am going to share them all with you so you get the full effect as to what he is capable of as an artist. As a matter of fact I am missing a couple of tracks from this period.
We’ve got a solid an eclectic production sampling here from The Architect, Chapter 19, and Rob Deniro along with guest bars from Supreme Cerebral.
