I can’t just drop a few posts and ignore the combination of talent represented in M-Dot on the rhymes and the legendary Pete Rock on the production! This song represents insane levels of skill on several tiers. It’s intense and unrelenting and an unveiling of what is sure to be one of the best projects to drop this year in egO anD The eneMy 2: A Dissolute Paradise. This is to serve notice, that the project is coming to fruition and you should keep your ears peeled!
Single You Out: Ca$ablanca x TITO – Assalamualaikum

New music from the hard working Ca$ablanca! TITO hits you the piano early on and then the drums come on…but it’s the piano work that give it that ‘feel’ or special vibe. We all know that Ca$a relishes every beat and puts this one to work perfectly, but TITO, who I am not all that familiar with, really illustrates a great mic presence as well. This is just great music! Enjoy!
Single You Out: Chuck N Lock – Double Tap (prod. by Vinyl Villain)

I am riding with Chuck N Lock for the evening as you can tell. Here’s another heater from the duo that can be found on the DMT project, Blunted On The Mothership. And if you are going to plot an execution, this is how it should be done. Vinyl Villain provides the soundscape. Enjoy!
Single You Out: Gary Rue – Down (ft. Jon Buell, El Ay, and Tone Twist)

Gary Rue is definitely someone I check for all off the strength of his first two release. He flies under the radar and definitely deserves more recognition for the skill he displays. Here we have a dope record featuring El Ay, Jon Buell, and Tone Twist. Production was procured by Lob Van Beathoven and the scratches by DJ Trickalone. This is a fresh joint the sets the stage fro Rue’s upcoming, The Burgeoning Nihlist.
Single You Out: LEX x G.S. Advance – Sweep The Leg (prod. by Dray Yard)

A dope track with LEX and G.S. Advance on the mic and Dray Yard on the beat. Of course I love the Karate Kid reference, but this beat as a whole happens to just move something! I am really feeling this track to the tune of more than just a few plays in a row. Just all around ill! Enjoy!
Single You Out: Pearl Gates & Syll – Kingz (feat. Blu)

Pearl Gates and Syll are back with a vengeance with their most recent single featuring Blu, Kingz. The track produced by Corrado is simply smooth. Something to ease into and vibe with in an anticipation of their forthcoming album, Play This 2.
Single You Out: Elz Sinatra – Appetite For Destruction

I always enjoy new music from Elz Sinatra and this one is epic and hits you with some extra fervor. I am loving this beat from DJ TMB while Sinatra and Ragnar Vallon come with a rugged display of lyricism.
Single You Out: Ca$ablanca – Aficionado$ (prod. by Body Bag Ben)

Ca$ablanca doesn’t stop…ever. He links up with Body Bag Ben for a haunting heat rock. This is the kind of track that makes you feel a little uneasy cuz those strings Ben uses keep you on edge. And Ca$ablanca knows how to put the beat to bed as his voice and cuts through effortlessly. This one will stick with you.
Single You Out: Greve – Handz Up (ft. Termanology x Ruste Juxx x Shabaam Sahdeeq x UG)

Here’s a gem I want to make sure that everyone hears. Producer Greve leads an all-star cast of emcee with a beat that sounds like boom-bap meets the River Dance and the result is hype! I love the use of the fiddle (?) loop. That shit is fire when coupled with this beat and the scratching. Emcees Termanology, Ruste Juxx, Shabaam Sahdeeq, and UG each rip strong sixteens to make a truly compelling track.
I suggest you check out the project, Eternal, as soon as possible.
Single You Out: Shabaam Sahdeeq x J57 – Steady Pace

Here’s another dope single that I missed out on a week and a half ago but I have to rep it because it’s dope music from impeccable artists. Shabaam Sahdeeq and J57 have a time-tested formula and deliver to your eardrums raw and unfettered. I have been rocking with Sahdeeq from the beginning and there will be no stopping that support. He is a legend and continues to deliver outstanding music. He and J57 really represent all that is outstanding in hip hop and continue to deliver…at…a…steady…pace.
Precious Stones…due out soon!
