Bandcamp sent me word that Coast LoCastro had some newness out there, and he is a diabolical wordsmith so I thought I would give it a listen, and it is that expected dope as he asks for God’s grace so he doesn’t have to bring the harm to someone. Dope production too with neck snapping drums and guitar.
Single You Out: Casual x Dead Perry – Never Say It To Us REMIX (DPV) (ft. Izrell)
Second track I have heard from Casual and Dead Perry’s forthcoming album, The Art Of Reanimation, and these guys are two for two with making a slapper. Never Say It To Us, is actually a Dead Perry rendering of a track from Casual’s last album, Big Head Science (which is really good and I listen to a lot). I am fond of Perry’s dark touch on the production, and Casual just keeps getting better year after year.
Single You Out: Nicholas Craven – Breaking Atoms (ft. Evidence)
The pairing of Nicholas Craven and Evidence seems like an inevitability. Their styles and talents really meld well as you can hear on their new single, Breaking Atoms. Soulful stylings and narratives. Enjoy the beautiful music.
Single You Out: Casual x Dead Perry – Raw (P-Dirt, Rockness Monsta, DJ Jason D)

Casual continues to show talent and longevity as he releases yet another dose of dope hip hop music. I am really feeling this production from Dead Perry here as well. It has this dark and hypnotic vibe and those guitar licks give it a tinge of a rock element. At the very end of the track, DJ Jason D delivers a quick onslaught of scratching in some dope samples, reminding us not so subtlely that this is at it’s heart a dope hip hop song. Rockness Monsta and Casual split up the mic duties and continue to spit the stuff of legends.
Great material that leaves us waiting for the album, The Art Of Reanimation, to drop on January 28th.
Single You Out: Xcel x CLOAQxDAGGER – Tylenol (ft. Anoyd)
I definitively want more people to peep on what’s going on with this project right here. Xcel and CLOAQxDAGGER have cooked up a really dope EP entitled, Godspeed. I knew the production team had been putting out some really dope production, and gave this a listen on the strength of that, and the project is quite dope. It also turns out that the emcee, Xcel, is a first rate wordsmith. I was really impressed with all things from the EP, and here they team up with Anoyd for my favorite joint from the project, Tylenol. Check it out, cop, enjoy, and thank me later!
Single You Out: Words x DJ TMB – All I Want (ft. Napoleon Da Legend x Venomous 2000)

It’s been a minute since I have heard some new music from Words, so as soon as I saw this I had to give it a listen. And here he is linking up with the very talented and respected DJ TMB and emcees Napoleon Da Legend and Venomous2000. It’s a dope track as could be anticipated and coming off the forthcoming album, The Winterborns.
Single You Out: Butch Swim & Tha Anthom – Big Bossman Tokyo (ft. M-Dot & Rev)
Some new music that involves the good Brothers M-Dot and Rev is always welcome and they find themselves on the song Big Bossman Tokyo which is produced by Bay Area producer duo, Butch Swim & Tha Anthom. Tha Anthom also handles a sixteen in between the Boston emcees, and all verses hit their mark on this Tekken inspired track.
Good music.
Single You Out: M-Dot (ft. Kool G Rap x Revalation) (prod. by The Mighty V.I.C.)
M-Dot’s new single, Decadence, takes us through time when he invites emcees Kool G Rap, M-Dot, and Revalation to drop some verses over a beat from The Might V.I.C. The production, for my ears, harkens back to 1990s, with losts of synth elements, appropriately placed horns, and scratches from DJ Jean Maron applying LL Cool J samples. Each emcee picks takes on a time frame and takes us back to that place from their own perspective. The concept is articulated perfectly and I am positive all will enjoy.
Single You Out: Jamil Honesty – Radar (ft. Mickey Factz)

New single from Jamil Honesty, featuring Mickey Factz and produced by JSoul and then you get the chops from one of the greats in my opinion, DJ Grazzhoppa. This is just areally great track featuring all the things that can make a hip hop song exceptional.
This is coming off of Honesty’s forthcoming album, The Greatest Dope.
Single You Out: Recognize Ali – Godly Men (ft. Vinnie Paz & Ill Bill)
Recognize Ali is staying busy with yet another release on it’s way, Underground King II. And while that does not have an official release date as of yet, we do get the frist single, Godly Men, featuring Vinnie Paz and Ill Bill, produced by Sultan Mir.
And when ever Rec Ali puts his pen to work you know you are going to get a high quality music. This is certainly no different, only made moreso working alongside these legends.
