Planet Asia and The Snowgoons have an album dropping? This is the second single? Well, hell yes! Great combination. One of the best emcees to ever do it teaming up with one of the most influential production units of their time! Metabolism is more of a downtempo joint that allows the listener to focus on the wordplay of guest emcee, Flash (N.B.S.) and PA Medallions. Dope material as to be expected, and excited to see what these legends concoct by way of an album.
Single You Out: Sypooda – Fish Food Remix (ft. Rigz x Joey Majors)

Sypooda puts a twist on one of his tracks from his EP, Stolen Goods, pairing emcee Joey Majors along side the origina bars from Rigz. This beat is really dope. The cascading keys over these drums, and the very adept scratching. This is certified inferno! And don’t miss out on that EP…the whole thing is really dope. Diverse boom bap with some exceptional wordsmiths.
Single You Out: UNiK-StYleZ – More Style

We’ve got an uptempo and high octane single to share today from UNiK-StYleZ with whom I have some familiarity and may have a project or two in the library. Here he’s flexing his own lyrical dexterity over some production from Duzk Beats and cuts by one of the best in the business, DJ TMB. Enjoy for your listening pleasure.
Single You Out: Faf – Medaliano (ft. Planet Asia)

Really wanted to share this project from producer, Faf, entitled The Haymaker. It’s a really dope project that I stumbled across and listened to today. I strongly encourage you all to do the same. In order to prompt that listening pleasure, I am showcasing this joint he did with Planet Asia which is that necessary weekend fire. I love how he contorted this Indian music sample, and you can NEVER go wrong with a P.A. Flow. Never…
Single You Out: K-Hill – Peanut Butter Whiskey (feat Chant and V8ga)

New music from K-Hill who we don’t hear from all that often, but is both seasoned and talented emcee that we have featured before. The self-produced track has a very “Pete Rock-esque” vibe to it with jazzy horns and a melodic tone. Hill is joined by emcees, Chant and V8ga for some slick rhymes over this smooth beat. Enjoy.
Single You Out: Midaz The Beast – War I Bring (prod. by Sherm LaRock)

New music from Midaz The Beast, and this time backed by the strength of Sherm Larock of whom I am a big fan. This joint is a straight banger, and being that it’s been out for a few weeks, you are all missing out. LaRock has got those drums, bells, and an ominous “war” vocal sample, while Midaz has razor sharp bars to sever heads. This is one of my favorite joints so far in this early year.
Single You Out: POUNDS – Shameless
POUNDS drops a really dope joint as lyrically he tries to keep his relationship on track. And surely this song will resonate with a lot a listeners here. We’ve all been in love and had to navigate through pain and hurt. And not sure who produced the track, but I love the feel and vibe.
Single You Out: Double A.B. – All G (ft. A.L.)
It’s been a looooooooong minute since we have heard some music from Double A.B., but we don’t forget good music around these parts. This emcee has bars and has made some great music, and is apparently STILL making great music.
All G, has a mellow vibe with the twangy guitar taking front and center of the production by long time collaborator, Dub Sonata. And that chill vibe, is the perfect segue for Double A.B. to introduce, or reintroduce himself to fans. Rapping alongside our featured emcee, is A.L., who also drops a dope sixteen.
His new album, Devils & Drugs, drops on April 18th, so stay tuned for that.
Single You Out: Snotty – Gettin Bacc

New music from The Umbrella as Snotty releases the BriskFingaz produced track, Gettin Bacc. Over an eerie orchestration, Snotty delivers the message that he is coming for his in 2022 and heads better pay attention.
Single You Out: Tones x Pazi – Boom
Tones is someone I am keeping an eye out for lately. He had a dope project out last year with DJ Matty Lite called Sacred. That’s something you should check out by the way. And here, with producer Pazi, you get more of that fire and energy, served up with a healthy dope of boom bap. Love the lyricism, production, and scratches. You should too!
