Cold Heat put me on to this cut from the venerable, Craig G. Shine Box is filled with Craig G. verbally humiliating all walks of hip hop artist and reminding them that they are not fit for the trade. Craig G. every once in a while has to bring the thunder to remind these mortals what the Legends are capable of.
New music from Awkword’s, World View Project. I really need to hone in on when this album is going to be completed so I can buy the complete package. A lot of dope music has been incorporated already. Diggin’ this song and the collection of artists he got to join him.
Sabac Red is back and is anchored by the good fellas of the BBAS team, J57 and Deejay Element. Sabac does what he does best…dropping knowledge. The beat is straight ill. Complete hip hop right here.
I definitely like the combination of Dumhi and Side Effect. They work really well together. I am not sure if this is just a leftover track from their, The Side Effect EP, or something more current but in the end, I only care if it’s dope. And it is…
DJ Low Cut’s, NY Minute, just dropped today and so far this song is really indicative of what you can find on the album. I am listening to it as I throw up this post. Every song has been a banger! This, How We Roll Cut, is a heater. Dontique executes his flow perfectly on this joint. You can download the single for free below.
This is the first single off of Kyle Hubbard’s forthcoming album, You’re Not That Special. This really is just the tip of the iceberg. You are definitely going to want to hear the rest of that joint when it drops on March 20th. This beat by DJay Cas is synthed out but has a high energy ‘epic’ feel to it. Hubbard is the one who makes this track original though. So often it seems he just takes a beat (any beat) and contorts it into something special.
