The EMS team links up musical insanity as Benefit, Rev, and Mayhem all take turns on the mic over some Code Red production. The drums and lyrics hit hard while the vocal sample allows the whole cut to just marinate on you a bit.
Local-Mu12 rep is back at it again with his single, Faded, off of his forthcoming album, The Crackpot Diaries. The song has a lot of kick (literally) with RP riding the rhythm of electronica and percussion. It’s a nice blend of boom-bap flavor and some edgier sounds. Peep.
While the chorus has something to be desired (in my opinion), this man can really spit some bars! I also am fond of this beat. This is a very good introduction to F.Y.I. I hope we can hear more from him in the near future.
4th Assassin posted this on his Twitter feed and I knew this was going to be nice. The guitar sample and piano keys are the perfect back drop for this posse cut. The samples chopped in are just icing on the cake. I am not sure if this joint will wind up on any project so be sure to enjoy it now.
I do not care for Lil Wayne, and I am big fan of Donny Goines’ body of work so posting this was really a no brainer. And let’s face it…somebody had to say it…and who could do it fresher?
“…you don’t like New York? Guess what? You ain’t welcome.”
“…the only Carter I like is Jay-Z…”
After this cut, plus the last joint, EVERYONE should be anticipating this album! This track is on some ‘darkest hour’ type ish. Definitely something that can stay in the headphones for quite some time. Make sure you check out Ruste Juxx and The Arcitype’s album, V.I.C. next month…
Cashus Flow dropped a new single. This one features John Robinson. I am not going to tell you what group he’s from. If you don’t know that by now, I just don’t know what to tell you.
But back to this track. It’s definitely more mellow than the last single he shot over. But he still delivers on quality and content on his rhymes. Lamplighter’s Delight drops this coming Tuesday on his bandcamp page, so save a few extra duckets this week and contribute to the cause.
I checked this because of his affiliation to Red Eye and true to form, this joint knocks. DJ Supa Dave drives a hard bargain with this joint while Comet and company give it the proper treatment.

An artist we featured here before, Scoe 7, recently shot over this new single from his crew, 200 PROOF. The crew consists of True King, Carter, and Scoe 7. This joint is some surprise heat. I mean, I expected it to be decent, but these guys show and prove to produce a banger. Recognize!
I know what you are thinking: Week 3? What happened to weeks one and two? My email ate them, that’s what happened, but UllNevaNo kindly reshot this over to me and I thoroughly enjoyed it. He’s really able to showcase his skills over this instrumental and I think you will agree that it gets top billing. Maybe if I can find the first two weeks I will add them to the post…
