This is the third single and probably my favorite from the forthcoming album from Eff Yoo entitled, Legend Of The Gnome Sword. This beat by Golden Child just makes me grin from ear to ear. The vocal sample chosen for this track is on point. Spit Gemz and AG Da Coroner fill out the verses on the cut so you know the deal. This music here is 100% Authentic…
Single You Out: CuzOH! Black – No Winter Coat
I missed this from a few weeks ago, but I found it again, and it was just a matter of time before I posted this. CuzOH! Black gets the adrenaline going with this joint as we each fight a cold world without the proper warmth. I love the music and I love the fact that this artist is scratching out a win, even if he has to fight tooth and nail to get it. Perseverance.
Single You Out: P.SO – So Enormous
You know when people (meaning bloggers) say “It’s been forever since I’ve heard from…” and it really was just three months ago since they posted some of their material? Well, the overused phraseology fits here. P.SO hasn’t dropped some NEW material in a while and this sound is encouraging. The production from The Other Guys is stellar as is the chopping from DJ GETLIVE!. P.SO has an album in the works entitled, The Gateway to Greatness. Check for that!

Single You Out: Skeezo – Bad Guy Pt 2 (ft. Shabaam Sahdeeq x Kaymerda x Ruste Juxx)
Skeezo releases this Alterbeats produced joint to bang in your system. Joining him behind the mic, along with Kaymerda, are two of the busiest emcees this year…Shabaam Sahdeeq and Ruste Juxx. Those two guys have been cranking out hits in abundance this year.
In the end, this joint is a banger…so stay on the ready for new material from Skeezo.
Single You Out: Serge Severe -Treat H.E.R. Right
Another song from Serge Severe and producer, Zapata. This joint is not on their effort, Silver Novelist. If you dug that project I am 100% sure you will enjoy this track. This actually might be my favorite production from Zapata. I love the sample, the laid back vibe, and the touch of soul in between.
Single You Out: RP – Tragedy Text
Man this song hit home the first time I heard it. I emailed, RP immediately and asked him if I could share this as a single. Well, this song became more poignant to me as I almost loss my wife to a heart attack yesterday. Different situation than the song, but the chorus still hits home when you are looking at a loss.
This song is what hip hop, and music in general is all about,…it gets you feeling something. Really dope writing skills on this one. It’s coming off of RP’s debut album, The Crackpot Diaries which I will be reviewing soon.
Single You Out: SciFi Stu – What You Wanna Know? (ft. John Robinson, Venomous 2000, Tone Liv and Chinch 33)
Scifi Stu is not one to rest on his laurels. Hot off of his Blood album that he recently released, he drops another gem on them with What You Wanna Know? The flute lures you in and pretty soon the drums just take over. One of those mesmerizing tracks. There are lots of good emcees on this cut so don’t miss out on this one!
Friday Feature: illMEASURED x Lam & Grins – Be Careful (ft. R.A. the Rugged Man)
Alright, here we are at the final installment of this month’s Friday Feature with illMEASURED. If you missed out, just backtrack and check out what this man has to offer hip hop fans. But as the old adage goes, we saved the best for last for our readers. illMEASURED produces an absolute monster for emcees Lam & Grins. Not only that but you see who joins that duo on the mic…none other than R.A. The Rugged Man. And that feature may draw you in, but this beat by our featured artist keeps you there. The dark bass line and the guitar licks, accompanied by the expert chopping up the MOP sample make sure that this joint bangs in your system for a while.
Make sure you keep in tune to what this man it doing. Email him for a beat for your project. Follow him on Twitter. Like his Facebook Page. Big things are afoot.
Single You Out: Journalist 103 – United We Stand
Journalist 103 (of The Left) is about to release his first solo album, Reporting Live. This is the second sampling off of that project that will drop on October 30th. On this joint, where the production is driven by the horns, Journalist 103 drops some observational thoughts in rhyme regarding politics and social issues. He comes across, not only as a talented emcee, but also as insightful. It’s a nice track that bodes well for his upcoming release.
