I am really feeling this song One, by Scuare. The delivery and flow over this Tom Bombadil beat makes this the sureshot. Great introduction. Rome Clientel and Parks made my day with this joint. Somebody needs to take the bull by the horns and consistently drop some bangers and that somebody very well might be Rome Clientel. The singles he’s dropped for his upcoming project have been stellar. Parks provides a beat that will have the homies marching in lines like the Roman Legions. The Empire 2: The Battlegrounds EP drops this coming Tuesday! Check this!

Friday Feature: Just FLoW x JWhizz – New God Flow (Revised and Revisited)
Again, typically speaking I rarely put up tracks that an artist does over industry beats but when Just FLoW does his thing, you have to take notice. FLoW and JWhizz blitz the OG track of Kanye West and Pusha T and they more than do this beat justice. I think this is my first time listening to JWhizz and I really like his voice and flow. I will be more vigilant in listening for his music. Just FLoW is a that the point now where he consistently rocks tracks to the utmost caliber which is why he is being featured.

Single You Out: RP x Stryfe x The 17th – Great Lyrical Shape
This is the camp right now! Local Mu-12 is killing from every angle right now. They are dropping at least one dope joint a week. This joint is no less dope than all of the others. All three of the emcees hit their mark with their verses over a rock/hiphop fused production from Real McKoy.

Jermiside is slept on…that is all. Well, ok there’s more to it that just that, and while the aforementioned is undoubtedly true this track is not only about his dope rhyme schemes and play on words. It’s about Brickbeats soulful/bluesy/hiphop blend that pushes this music front and center.
This is the second single from their forthcoming project, Supercharged.
Single You Out: Thesis – My Symphony
This is one of those tracks that’s not really a single from the artist but I wanted to get his music out there. I am not up to doing reviews right now with my wife on the mend from a serious medical issue, but Thesis’ music needs to be mentioned. I am running through his album, All Mixed Up, and it’s some serious good. My Symphony is the track that stood out the most initially, though any number of the songs on this album will show out.

This month’s featured artist is someone that I’ve been building with for over a year now and who’s really been developing and honing his craft rhyme after rhyme. Just FLoW just keeps getting better with every listen, and if any man deserves to be featured on HHD, it’s him. This man’s talent may only be dwarfed by his work ethic. Not only is he an accomplished emcee but he also is very apt to do his own videography and is involved in almost every aspect of his craft.

This latest single from Rome Clientel featuring REKS is indefinitely some of his best music to date. I love the 70s sould sample that ATG flips from Flaming Ember. That alone gives this song so much character and Clientel and REKS’ verses really play well off of each other.

In the freshest way possible, Swerve and Rav.P remind us that we should lend a helping hand when possible. The beat by Soulful is just that…soulful and very smooth.
