You can’t put it past me to up a rough mix of a cut that has Little Vic on it. Basically his rough cuts are greater than 90% of these mastered album songs the industry is perpetrating these days.

Koncept is busy continuing the buzz for Malt Disney with the release of this single featuring Tanya Morgan. We are all ready for the album but we must wait for another month as it drops on February 25th. Good things come to those who wait.
Paradime is one raw spitter! I have been checking for him since he dropping Breaking Beauregard, last year or the year prior (can’t remember). Thought I Lost It is not be found on any project and is a stand alone track to wet the appetites of fans. Really dope music. The track has excellent production concocted by Peace Of Mind. I heard you like ill posse cuts, well guess what we have here? Yeah this what happens when The Opposition and FYL team up on a track. The body count just rises. George Black cooks up a dark symphony for our emcees to spit lava rock over. This is yet more illness from Shaz Illyork’s upcoming, Deadstock Revival.
At this point I could just throw this song up there and say: “It’s Final Outlaw, you do the math…”. Every time he drops a song it gets a feature in our daily five because his music is just that consistently good. But it also deserves more than just a mention. This cut S.O.S could easily be retitled, Innocence Lost. Final Outlaw narrates or eludes to tale after tale of broken promises and wounded souls. He does this over an eery beat that samples Nas’ NY State Of Mind. Do yourself a favor and listen to this when you are in high spirits because the man is going to take you low on this joint…
His album, Unstoppable Love, is set to drop on Febraury 19th. This cut, however, will not be on it.
Jus Daze string of releases have become more and more compelling with every track. I’ve talked about it before, but Jus Daze is becoming a master of connecting with the audience. Even if he narrates a tale through metaphor and imagery, the potency of the message he imparts remains the same. Here you have a Rod Stewart infused boom-bap produced by Clipsmoke, while Jus Daze uses the story of Superman to weave a tale of love, lies, and deception. This is really good stuff people! I can’t wait for the album, Walk Twice As Hard.

I ran through KON Sci’s album, And Beyond, once last night and I was really impressed. There is some real intelligent lyricism on this album, and this is one of the many impressive cuts that can be found within. As for this particular cut, I can’t do any better at describing it in this case than the PR person at Soulspazm:
The song brings to light KON Sci’s deep appreciation for his tool of creativity, his pen. Backed by a soothing soul voice sample, KON Sci expresses his admiration for his writing utensil through the use of metaphor and analogy.
I missed this track while cleaning up my inbox, Sho Baraka goes all in discussing racial tension and issues. He brings up many a good point in an extremely fresh demeanor. His album Talented Tenth is available for purchase and after listening to the gift and intelligence embraced on this record, I just might have to pick this up.
Due to the original track’s success off of The Winter Tape, The Audible Doctor has decided to give the track the remix treatment. This sound gives it a more soulful form of boom bap. Enjoy!
