This is the second single from Whosane’s forthcoming album, Brooklyn to Cape Town. This man is killing it again, though this time over a Ski Beatz production. It’s a dope song even though I can’t understand the other emcee’s verse in the least. I guess that tells you how goo Whosane’s bars have got to be, right?
Single You Out: Freestyle Fam – Bar Fights (ft. R.Kitect and Buck Barnabas)
This is a song you can run and go tell your homies about. Hot ish! Hot ish! First off, the beat from Araabmuzik must be on loan from Lucifer (ironic b/c there are some Christian overtones in the music) because it’s that hot. But these emcees aren’t playing…AT ALL. They each compete for the best verse on this cut and they ALL are contenders.
So while the song plays, keep the neck brace close. It may come in handy. This song is coming off of FreeStyle Fam’s forthcoming mixtape.
Single You Out: HMAN – Heavy With The Drop (ft. Sticky Fingaz)
HMAN? Why haven’t I heard of HMAN? Damn it. I can’t keep up. All the sudden an artist I have never heard of has a beat by The Audible Doctor and Sticky Fingaz as an accomplice on the mic. Man…
At any rate, this is a dope track that you should be checking out. If you like it, he has a new album which can be downloaded here.
Single You Out: Gone Wallace – Aretha Maybe (prod. by RocketScience)
This is a fresh, light hearted track from an artist going by the moniker, Gone Wallace. I like the concept and the execution. I will be checking for him in the future. He’s just offering something different that I like.
Single You Out: Chris Green – Fire (ft. Flexo (of CBB) & Billy D. Mills)
I am very pleased to present this new artists (at least to me) Chris Green. I was expecting bland (because that’s what is typical) but this is a hot track. The beat is knocking (Super Villain) and the emcees have some better than decent flows. I think the readership on HHD can get behind this. I hope to hear more soon.
Single You Out: MaV – Imperial b/w Observe & Report (ft. Just FLoW)
MaV recently released his GhettOthello project and it took me a while to run through it and I have to say I was amazed. I was amazed not because of the dope music (I expected that) but by how professional everything was done. It was solid from the rhymes and beats all the way down to the mix down. There was careful execution in the arrangement of the tracks and not a lot of people understand how important that is to showcase your talents. The attention to detail was impeccable. Also it bears mentioning that MaV produced most of the project himself and you will understand how impressive when you hear the project.
Now to the tracks at hand. I first heard MaV because of his collaborations with another artist we have showcased here, Just FLoW. It just so happens that the two of them have a couple of dope tracks on this joint and it gives you an insight into how dope this project is. Observe and Report is definitely an early candidate for the Top 50 at the end of the year.

9th Prince – Never Never (ft. Inspectah Deck) (Video)
I am not sure where this track is from or destined to be, but it’s definitely worth sharing. The production is coming from Soul Professa and as you can see from the title we have 9th Prince and Inspectah Deck in charge of bar droppin’. The cut is a concoction of soul, funk, and grime, so if that sounds good to you, make sure you cop the single. I especially like the way the Professa chops up the production between the 16s. Dope.
Single You Out: Tha Soloist – Pay Homage (Dee Metto Remix)
I don’t like posting YouTube videos as singles, but I am going to make an exception for my man, Dee Metto. There evidentially is a remix contest put forth by Tha Soloist for producers to rework this track from his album with Trilian, Original Script. As you all know now Dee Metto’s work is highly regarded here on HHD and this is his take on the track. Enjoy.
Single You Out: Hannibal Stax & Marco Polo – Warriorz Drum (ft. Torae)
No…it’s not King Just (if you don’t get this reference then we are not from the same era), it’s Hannibal Stax and Marco Polo dropping that hardcore alongside a ope guest in the form of one Torae. This is a sick beat with dope lines galore. I just finished listening to Hannibal and Marco’s album, Seize the Day, and lets just say that it’s worth the dolo. Marco Polo is never to be associated with the weak shit!
Single You Out: 7 G.E.M.S. (Tragic Allies & Tragedy Khadafi) – Dem Get Murda
Tragic Allies and Tragedy Khadafi connect and form 7 G.E.M.S. They have an album dropping, Golden Era Music Sciences, next Tuesday. It’s slightly reminiscent of Black Market Militia in it’s sound and that’s not a bad thing. The lyricism is on the “street esoteric” nature backed with big beats.
