Revalation released this posse cut from his Feature Presentation project that drops tomorrow. Skammadix, the producer, makes this joint absolutely go! It’s got that uptempo BPM with some banging keys that are sure to get the a’ snappin. The lineup of Rev, JoJo Rose, B.A.M., Tribeca, Ellementt, and Punchline all proceed to do some serious work.
New single lifted from the Snowgoons’ latest project, Black Snow 2. I just listened to the album a few days ago and I think its the Goons best work in a minute, so make sure you check that out. Still Real And Raw brings together that vintage German boom-bap with the rhyme stylings of M-Dot, Jaysaun, and Journalist 103. Everyone who follows HHD knows M-Dot’s prowess. Jaysaun can spit just a few bars a year and make a headliner. Journalist 103 has at least one classic album under his belt and severely underrated one as well. So is that ill enough? Solo For Dolo is releasing music at a fairly good pace and now we get word that his EP, Back To Basics will be dropping on December 25th free of charge, in conjunction with producer, Don Producci. For this track, the two invite Ren Thomas and Billy Snubbs on the mic as well. Producci really gets cooking with this production. It’s f’ckn fantastic. He’s got some groovy percussion, keys, and a killer sample. The emcees all get live on this one with some dope bars. This is the sure shot.
Lord Willin and Big O tag team over this 4th Assassin banger. The track gets it’s title from former WWF manager, Bobby “The Brain” Heenan. I am not sure how this title is derived from the song because I don’t remember much about Heenan. But who cares? This track is dope. 4th Assassin always brings out the best in emceees (ala Big O’s last album, Gravel Engravement).
I don’t know what this says about the music scene: Little Vic’s one minute freestyles make most other artist’s music look paltry comparison. So either Vic is a microphone savant or the industry is soft right now. I think it’s a combo deal. DJ Supa Dave is on the boards.
DJ Bless outdid himself with this production! The chorus sounds like it was sung by a demonic doll. It just has this very creepy element to the track. For their part, The Rhythm Writers do not tread lightly and drop a nice sequence of bars. The combination of DJ Bless and The Rhythm Writers proves once again to be a win for hip hop heads.
Damn. This is the very definition of a ‘banger’. Ayden has these drums banging hard and Famoso and Shaz Illyork do not fail to deliver some of that indelible NYC flavor. I love this material.

New track from the collective known as Coarse Company, which is comprised of Koncept and Tenacity. And for these Bohemians the sky is the limit when rocking over this uncredited (as far as I can tell) production. The two emcees really blend their unique styles for the sake of making some good hip hop. That’s selfless.
Their project, Same Page, drops for free on December 17th (a mere day away).
Mayhem from the EMS camp broke me off with this new track by Tribeca that he is featured on. Forever Rain is something that us regular folk can really find solace in. Sometimes we feel like circumstances and conditions are constantly against us, but we still persevere. The chorus by Lisa Denise is also a highlight here. Her voice relates to the hope that the emcees are referring to.
JustMe is going to close out this year on the right note. As I prepare my end of the year posts, I had to give this dope hip hop ponderance it’s due. Deacon the Villain is the one responsible for the subtle soundscape upon which JustMe narrates. Enjoy.
