The last few songs I have heard from L.E.G.A.C.Y. have all been strong. Whether they be his own, or he’s dropping a verse on someone elses project, he ALWAYS drops solid bars. I really don’t want dude to quit making hip hop music. I think he has exceptional talent. First Supastition and now L.E.G.A.C.Y.? I digress. We are only about three days away from One Be Lo’s next official release, L.A.B.O.R. I already detailed Vol. 1 a couple of weeks ago and this grouping of One Be Lo’s previous works is equally as dope. When you hear both of these volumes, it gives the listener a true appreciation of how gifted One Be Lo really is. I really dig the whole thing but I remember when I first heard the joint Chemistry that he did with Grynch and Combat with Verbal Kent. Those tracks really resonate with me and both outstanding examples of lyricism.
Again, Laborhood Vol. 2 is only $3 and it would be a damn shame if you didn’t own both volumes. You are getting a grip of dope tracks for less than the cost of one album. I could do a whole write up on the tracks you hear on this release but I am going to hold off until L.A.B.O.R. drops this coming Tuesday, September 6th. Be sure you pick that up when the time comes!

Shadia Mansour – Al Kufiyyeh 3arabeyyeh (ft. M1 of Dead Prez) Video
I have heard Shadia Mansour on some of The Narcicyst tracks and I really like her soulful voice. Now I get a dose of Arabic hip hop and the woman gets down (albeit in a language I can’t understand). M1 drops a dope verse in support of the Palestinian voice and that is a cause I am always willing to support. Definitely check her out!
Apathy – Peace Connecticut (Video)
Apathy pays homage to his home state on this joint. This is just one of the many dope tracks that are available on his album, Honkey Kong. I have run through it one time and found it to be pretty solid from front to back. Check it.
Single you Out: Brown Bag AllStars – Psycho Dwarf 2011 (Beatnuts Tribute)
So this song is a two prong success. First it serves as a reminder as to how dope The Beatnuts are. They are one of the most underrated crews in hip hop history. So many dope songs have come from The Beatnuts and they have never gotten their full due. This beat is a classic and comes from their very first EP, Intoxicated Demons.
Secondly, if there was a group who was equipped to do service to this cut, it is the Brown Bag AllStars. These guys do an incredible job of taking this classic hip hop song and give it a modern flair while still maintaining the integrity of track.

Single You Out: Chino XL – N.I.C.E.
Ask me who is the illest lyricist of all time and Chino XL’s names has to enter into that conversation. He is one of those artists that just calls you attention when he spits his bars. Just a man who is in total command of his craft. I can not wait until his album, The RICANstruction: The Black Rosary, drops. But if this is what the entire project will sound like, I think the populous is in for a treat. Enjoy the first single from the album!

Single You Out: Just Flowing – Be So Cruel
I wanted to share both of this new track with you guys. Just Flowing has been on a serious grind as of late. When I listened to his first mixtape I could hear the talent but I wanted to hear some more polished tracks and sound from him before I started posting his material. A few months later, I hit you all off with his track w/ Mav, Heartless. I thought that track was honestly very dope and deserved recognition. But now the man hits me with another, more meaningful banger, which further illustrate the man’s talent and progression.
