Believe the hype. This video is really well done and the song from Blacktivity is nice. You should definitely be knocking this. You can check out the album for free HERE.
Passalacqua – Sunset City (Video)
Passalacqua drops off their new video for Sunset City which is featured off of their new album, Zebehazy Summer. Really dope visuals used as the video begins and all around very ascetic ally pleasing. Check out the album if you are feeling this joint.
Single You Out: Emilio Lopez – How Do I Survive (prod. by Falside)
This was a great combo last year. Emilio Lopez and Falside killed it last year with their Top 50 joint, Way Past 8. Now they bring more heat for 2012. How Do I Survive?is on some rugged-n-raw type shit. I really enjoy that MOP sample Falside inserted in the cut. This joint has really got me anticipating Lopez’s, Demolition Deluxe dropping in February.
Single You Out: Mr. Complex – Holy Smokes
Mr. Complex? Really? Wow. This is a nice surprise. I was just making fun of the term ‘hiatus’ today on twitter. Now, Mr. Complex really is an emcee that’s been on hiatus, but he still sounds nice on the microphone. I am really excited to hear and share that he has a new album dropping onf February 14th entitled…Swiss Chocolate Cake.
Single You Out: MayDay – Internal Wars ft. M1 and Reks
MayDay is one of those groups you can always count on for some good music. Wrekonize is one of my personal favorite artists, so I am always on the lookout for new material from the group. The vibe by Plex Luthor is very laid back, with a synth that just kind of leaves you in a trance. I am not sure what project this will be on but you should definitely enjoy the listen.

Single You Out: SmCity – MR. IDGAF ft. Oddisee & Phil Ade

I love the production on this track. Oddisee put together a banger with Mr. IDGAF. It’s a little bit orchestral, it’s solemn in some spots, and it knocks in others. Really great work on the boards. The emcees all deliver better than average efforts on the mic. This song is off of the SmCity project, the Indie Life: Hate, Love & Money album that drops on DJ Booth in just a couple of days. Enjoy…
Single you Out: Planet Asia – Golden State

One of the most consistent voices in Hip Hop, Planet Asia, brings you his first single from the forthcoming album, Black Belt Theatre. Golden State is layered in that 70s funk which, as I understand it, is the whole theme for the album. I am always down for Planet Asia material. He’s a model of consistency.
Fresh Vetz – Dope Addictz (Video)
This cut is off of Fresh Vetz’s latest release, Fresh 2 Def. Regrettably I have not copped this album yet but what I have heard sounds really good. It’s also gotten a lot of acclaim from the likes of DJ Premier. This joint is hot so I need to look into purchasing as should you.
Juan Deuce – Krill Pill (Video)
I don’t know if I have seen a more bizarre and random video. It definitely catches your attention and holds it until the final minute. It has a little everything in it. Juan, half-naked in an indian head-dress, a woman dressed in a mask shaves a strip in his chest, takes off her top and then blows him up. Make sense? That’s the point!
This song will be dropping off of the Free Shabazz project dropping sometime next week.
