As I steadily await the arrival of C-Rayz Walz new album, which is indeed arriving this year, he decides to unleash some visuals from his mixtape All Blvck Everything. C-Rayz verse celebrating the life of Eyedea is a nice testament to the Minnesota native.

Note:
I caught this release off of DJ Booth the other day. I wasn’t expecting it, nor did I truly know who Garcia even was. I saw that he had the crew from MayDay and J. Nics on the release and that was enough to pique my interest.
Single You Out: V-Zilla – Most Incredible
I didn’t even know his album dropped on the last day of 2011. I got a chance to listen to it today, and it’s impressive. V-Zilla has a dope flow and the bulk of the songs from his 20 track album are really strong. Most Incredible is one of the strongest and an excellent choice for a single.
Purchase Interview With A Monster
Rome Cee – Something Beyond (Video)
My fault, Rome Cee has sent this to me twice and I just never got around to viewing it, but now that I have, I can pass it on to you. I really like the music. It’s very melodic and soothing, but Rome Cee’s flow keeps you interested. He’s definitely an artist we should be keeping our ears peeled for.
His album, The Grey Area, may be dropping soon…
Starvin B – Everybody Shining (ft. Shaz Illyork, Spit Gemz)
I don’t know. I missed this artist for some reason. I am just now getting up on Shaz Illyork and Spit Gemz, so with their appearance I thought I would give this video a chance. This joints goes… It’s that gritty, street hip hop that gets me hype.
This joint is off of Starvin B’s The Food Chain. You can download the EP for free HERE or you can purchase an extended version HERE for $10. I chose the latter because this is music we can get behind and support.!
Single You Out: Devine Carama – Golden Era Flow (ft. Rob Jackson)
I think everyone who heard Devine Carama’s last album, Blood Of a Slave, knew it was a winner. That album knocked, was introspective, and soulful. Well now, he’s back with the first release off of his new album Heart Of A King. Golden Era Flow has got that jazzy vibe. You should check this out and be sure to check for a release date for Heart Of A King.
Single You Out: Born Unique – One By One (ft. Red Eye)
Born Unique has some newness out with his Boiler Room Mixtape. I downloaded it last night. There were quite a few bangers off of this mixtape. This cut in particular has all the dope ingredients: dope scratching, tight beat, and the bragadoccio rhymes. Give it a listen…
Dirt Platoon – More Dishes (ft. Fel Sweetenberg) (Video)
I became aware of Dirt Platoon because of their association with producer, DJ Brans. They put together an EP (Start Ya Bids) in late 2011 that I thought was very good. These guys embody the terminology, ‘rugged-n-rough’. Here they team up with another favorite, Fel Sweetenberg.
Chief Kamachi – City Blocks (Video)
Chief Kamachi is a very underrated artist. I always feel Kamachi’s lyrics. This song is intelligent and knocks. Apparently he has a project dropping this coming Tuesday entitled, Rise & Rhyme Vol. 1. Cop that!
Single You Out: Zilla Rocca – Full Specturm 2 (ft. Has Lo and Open Mike Eagle)
Here’s a new jam from the right and honorable, Zilla Rocca. Dr. Quandary laces a track that I can best describe as being nostalgic. Everyone does their thing on this track but the more I hear from Open Mike Eagle, the more I am becoming a fan.
