Every song on this project bangs. There are only ten (plus instrumentals), so it’s short and to the point but every song on here is a winner. And I mean that…every song wins.
Single You Out: Serge Severe & Gen.Erik- Giant (feat. DJ Total Eclipse (X-Ecutioners)
A great DJ can make a great song phenomenal and that’s what happens here. Serge Severe is a superlative emcee and has made many a great song and this has to be considered one of the best. And the difference is DJ Total Eclipse. That kind of expert chopping is a difference maker. Gen. Erik is no slouch behind the boards either. Banging!
One Dae – Sweet Dreams (Video)
One Dae is not taking any days off since he dropped his superlative album, Daes & Times last year. He has a new mixtape getting ready to drop called Last Of The Flohicans mixed by the venerable PF Cuttin. This is the first single (I think) from the project. Enjoy!
Single You Out: Jus Daze – New Yawk (prod by Stradivarius)
New Yawk is nothing to tamper with and very few rep it better than Jus Daze. Daze had been dropping a lot of introspective music lately, but here he pays homage to his city. And he does it with the flair and flow that only he possesses. Stradivarius digs down deep into the soul and extracts just a little bit for this really dope beat. Enjoy folks!
Intuition & Equalibrum – STFU (Video)
Intuition and Equalibrum dropped their self-titled album today and did it proper. The music is very relatable and easy to listen to. It’s got a very bluesy vibe and made my ride to work all the more pleasurable this morning. This so happens to be one of my favorite tracks from the effort. It’s done from the perspective of his girl in the midst of an argument. Pretty innovative when considering the lyrics….
