John Jigg$ has a new video out that I meant to get out last week but I got stuck in some things and was unable to update the site, but there’s no wrong time to share some dope music. The single Flashlights, is off of Jigg$ latest project from earlier this year, S.O.U.L., where he really illustrates that he can take the soulful and more thoughtful productions and still produce excellence. The consummate emcee, Jigg$, can rock any beat and create great music.

Yoooooo…when is THIS project coming out! Murderer’s Row is comprised of Outerspace, King Syze, and Reef The Lost Cauze, and produced by none other than the Snowgoons. And to be honest, I had to table to another write-up when I saw this drop. This is the heat rock of the week. Wow! These guys are just stepping on necks, and more vicious in their spit game than ever. With family on the line, there is more to lose, so expect not latitude from these artists.

Snowgoons have been supplying emcees with heatrocks for DECADES fam! For decades! And here you have their latest installation of the 1st Of Da Month, featuring emcees Joey Majors, Semore Buckz, and Famoso. It’s more a mellow flavor, than those hard hitting boom bap drums we’ve become accustomed to but it is no less ill, as each emcee takes a turn showcasing the lane they’ve made for themselves in the game.
Single You Out: J. Lately – Gas Station Coffee (ft. Loe Gino)
Not sure who produced this joint, Gas Station Coffee, but it really fits with the music that J. Lately is most known for. He is great at creating this vibe, and music that just feels good to the soul no matter the topic. Here is joined with Loe Gino, as the two take turns on the mic relating to the perseverance of making good music despite what others may think. They turn self-doubt into the perseverance of talent.

Supreme Cerebral and The Kurse release a soulful steez for the track Never Let You Go. The initial feel from The Kurse’s production is that this going to be a laid back track, but Cerebral’s pen game is always the sharpest blade and prone to cutting the competition on any sound scape.

There’s a lot to be optimistic about today, and one of the reasons is Natural Elements is still making amazing music together after all these years. Now they don’t crank out music as prolifically as they did when they did when they were younger but each time they do they make it count. Single You Out: DJ Design – The Blues (ft. Phat Kat & Elzhi)
DJ Design calls upon Detroit to add some verbal fuel to his fire for the song, The Blues, featuring Phat Kat and Elzhi. Hard to put my finger on the origin of this beat which is a great thing, meaning it transcends me putting a label on it, but it leads with a 70s-esque sample that lends itself to our emcees weaving their tales and observations. Innovation in music!
Comet MadMen – Teflon Threads (Video)
Banger on deck! Duck your heads if these shots were headed in your direction. Comet Madmen comes in with some bar work keeping his verse clear and concise for all those who try to muddle their verses between their teeth! And he brings us some convincing NYC boom bap terror with Sean Lo lighting a flammable beat. This one should def be garnering some attention. It’s too good!
Skanks the Rap Martyr – Misery (ft. AJ Lee) (Video)
The ever talented Skanks the Rap Martyr gets a little creative with this song and video, Misery, from his forthcoming album M.O.S.T 2 (Minister Of Severe Torture). With accomplice AJ Lee they set their own rendition of Steven King’s Misery. A tale of a woman obsessed with a man, that winds up drugged and tied to the bed, who then winds escapes up escaping with his life. Clever verses that work well within the chorus set up this hip hop rendition! Amadeus360 sets the panic with the production!
