Damn. Jigg$ went in over this DJ Supa Dave beat and he’s letting loose a fury of hot bars. There are definitely some straight heat rocks featured on here. This cut serves as nice and memorable introduction to the latest Deep Concept Media signee.
Bangerville – Spit Real Game (ft. TRA) (prod. Big Sproxx) (Video)
Damn. Big Sproxx delivers a true banger with this new cut from Bangerville. This is just another gem that was luckily uncovered in the process of sorting through my inbox. The production and overall sound is a little reminiscent of Non-Phixion ala I Shot Reagan. which is meant as a big compliment.
If you are looking for some music that knocks then you may want to check out their free EP, Extended Forecast.
Single You Out: P.Seize – Casualties Of Life
We are a composite image of our life’s dealings, both the good and the bad. And while the bad times may be agonizing while they are occurring, they are critical to shaping our persona. Hence this new jawn I found in my inbox from P.Seize. This song is pretty damn good if you ask me. The beat is on point and the lyrics draw you into Seize’s world.
If you are diggin’ this song, you might want to check out his new album, A Series Of Unnoticed Events.
Single You Out: Snake Hollywood – Artisan (prod. Rod Da Blizz)
Snake Hollywood is back with a new joint produced by Rod Da Blizz. This joint has an incredible intensity about it. The staccato strings in the production accompanied by other subtleties of sound really give this an extremely well rounded sound. It’s very complex and rich. Snake Hollywood matches the rich texture of the instrumental with an equal dose of superlative lyricism giving this song’s moniker some meaning.
Snake Hollywood is at the top of his game so other emcees need to step the art game up!

This is the fourth installment of his Language Arts series and if you have not had the opportunity to check the other efforts, now is the opportune time to give yourself a swift kick in the ass. This guy has bars and all those intangibles. When McRaw hits the mic, you know him by the voice, it’s that distinctive. There really are no skippable tracks on this release (as in previous releases as well) so enjoy.
Nutso – Block Boy (Video)
Fan favorite, Nutso, is back with a new video single for his forthcoming EP, Divided Soul, which is dropping tomorrow. Those familiar with Nutso (and you should be if you have followed this site at all) knows that he always keeps it authentic and true to the boom bap style. So watch him fire up the burners and put in that work!

While it’s been almost eight years since Vic has dropped an official album, he has turned out a mixtape or two during that time span and still remains sharp with precise lyrical wit that keeps the listener’s brain cells moving. Loosies Collection Part 1 is just that…an assortment of songs that Vic has done in the past couple of years assembled in one mixtape and blended together by none other than DJ Mickey Knox.
And while I hope that eventually we will get something official in the way of an album from Vic, I am content to hear some new joints not heard before and excited to share them with you.
Illmaculate & OnlyOne – Marathon (prod. by Chase Moore)
OnlyOne and Illmaculate are back at it and knifing through this ill production from Chase Moore. The pairing has always been one of the most formidable in hip hop and it’s great to see them bringing in 2015 the right way. OnlyOne still remains one of our favorite wordsmiths on the site and on this song you can see why…Can’t wait to hear the full project.
Kenn Starr – Say Goodbye (prod. Black Milk) (Video)
I really like Kenn Starr’s new album, Square One. He has a cool vibe about him that has a calming effect on his music. For instance, even on this song, where he is cleaning house of individuals who are weighing him down, he sounds so casual about it. It’s just a unique style. Check out the album if you have not already. Black Milk is on the production.
