I keep on re-listening to this project from J-Scriptz from 2014. It’s such a dope project and deserves the utmost attention so here is another favorite track from his Transition EP. Simply listen to the personally woven intricacies in the song. Please make sure you check out and cop the project, not as a favor to me, but for hip hop.
Once you hear this song it’s going to at first resonate and then marinate with you for a moment. Before this moment I hadn’t heard of Breeze Embalm, but this smooth cut featuring Blu is a hit, and I am sure we will hear much more from him soon. The music’s message as I hear it: Don’t get too comfortable with your status and position. It’s all temporary.
This track is certain fire from Pretty Ugly. All you need to do is mention the name and Pretty Ugly will be Jonny-On-The-Spot according to the track. The flow is raspy and menacing, along with a creative conversational style. Traklordz laces the boom. Excited to hear more.
Oh…no skinny jeans allowed around this way either! A-Class disperses the hipsters with a video single from his project, Nightwriter. Tom Delay serving up the delicious beat not only for this track but all of the others. Enjoy and cop the project.
We featured the John Jigg$ single a couple of weeks ago and now we have the video to unleash upon you. I am telling you, that this might be one of the best flows of this year. Man, no hook, and just straight bars that slap you in the face.
Godz Chyld and Jordan River Banks connect again for their new single, Don’t Sleep On Me. We promoted their collaborative project last year which was in the form of the EP, Forever. That project was dope and this song doesn’t miss a beat. The beat is hype and the flow is smooth.
The topic of disinformation abounds on this second single from Spit Gemz forthcoming project, Godly Features. We are all fed lies and tom foolery from those in a position of power, don’t be deceived. Dope production coming from Organik Poisons which features a nice Slick Rick chopped sample on the hook. Shabaam Sahdeeq stops by to lend a hot 16 to add even more flavor to the joint,

Really proud to be able to showcase some new music from one of my personal favorite artists, Kyle Hubbard. It’s been a minute since Hubbard had put some new music out, but he shows he hasn’t lost a step rocking over this jazzy, yet funky Djay Cas production with guest emcee Truck North.

So this isn’t really a single that is released explicitly by The AbSoulJah (although it was a video dropped a months or so ago) but I am using it again to bring this dope bonus project he just released to light. When the Moon Shines… is a complimentary project to his latest album, Dim The Light. You can purchase both CDs on this bandcamp page for $15. Great deal for some great music.
