Milano Constatine and Oh Jay’s album, Attache Case, is certainly a standout from this year and here they release one of the smoother tracks from an otherwise pretty gritty endeavor. So enjoy The Main Event, you are most certainly invited to the show…
I am going to start featuring onealbum from the previous week every Monday because there is so much good music that I believe is going unheard. And this album from French producer, Astro Vandalist, is something that you guys need to be made aware of. It’s 17 tracks of unadulterated and potent hip hop. The beats really hit hard and you can see by this lineup of emcees that there are some heavy hitters on here.
Check out and cop the whole thing as it is worth every penny, but here are my favorite tracks if you want a sampling!
Producer RobertDenirodrops a heater from an upcoming project, Galesi Brescia, featuring verbals from Madhattan. Beats and pen game straight off a New York street corner.
I don’t have any information for the project but I will share when I know. DeNiro’s name has been buzzing as of late so I am guessing we are going to be hearing a lot more from the man in 2019.
B.Dvine connects with Goretexfor some heat over production from Sean Strange. Strange puts some strings together that sometimes set a frenetic pace for the aforementioned emcees, as they stay true to…The Recipe.
Here’s a single from Curly Castro’s forthcoming album, Toshwhich is dropping on December 14th. Ital-You-Can-Eat is a creative and eclectic blend of talent that just comes together and an impeccable blend. You’ve got a master of musical fusion in Blockheadconcocting a production that is reggae-asian-hiphop infused. And then you add bending lyricism from Castro and billy woods to the mix, and your palette is set. Enjoy the feast!
Spodais someone we haven’t featured on our pages before but I saw a wealth of talent demonstrated on this single Homicide produced by Wavy Da Ghawd. The horns with the gritty feel of the track create the canvas needed for Spoda “make a killing” on the mic, and that’s exactly what he does. We will look forward to hearing more from him as an artist.
Some contrasting, yet uniquely dope artists come together on this track from King Magnetic and DOCWILLROB’s project, Back In The Trap. Bennyand GQ Nothin Pretty each drop verses alongside Magnetic and it just all comes together in a dope fashion. Magnetic and Benny with a more deliberate style and GQ Nothin Pretty firing off a rapid fire and high energy salvo. All have bars!
This track was actually released back in July of 2017 but serves as the single to Sedizzy’sforthcoming project, Slick Talk Season, which is dropping on December 7th. And even while it’s an older track, I still feel the need to share it as it illustrates are really dope flow and lyricism from this artist. We also have Donnie Darko dropping some fiya, and we are very familiar with what he’s capable of and he does not disappoint here.
Here’s something new from Misterto vibe on! Approaching Land features some amazing production from a beatsmith coming out of London by the name of Curt Cataract. There is such a soulful vibe asserted here that it picks the listener up and simply carries them. The rhythm and the pace astound, while Mister and Hemlock Ersnt engage you in verbalism that requires a keen ear and thoughtful introspection. This is something that you need to sink your teeth into in order to fully appreciate.
This song is lifted from Mister and Curt Cataract’s forthcoming album by the same title, Approaching Land, which we will, unfortunately, have to wait three months for…ugggh. When you hear tracks as special as this it simply makes you crave more.
Nemsand Bennyare a solid combination to a track together and that’s exactly what comes about on the new cut, To The Grave. Their styles and their voices really gel perfectly over this dark banger produced by Lex.
