Short but no less potent cut off of Comet’s album, Cataclysm. The track is a dedication to KL and the track features his lyrical comrade, Blaq Poet.
Single You Out: Waterr x Farmabeats – N.I.T.V. (ft. Ty Farris)

First single from Waterr and Farmabeats new project which is dropping on 02/22/2019. This is smooth and yet haunting at the same time. Waterr and guest Ty Farris navigate the dark corners of Farmabeats’ production, with survival tactic and the differential for what it takes to make it in the hustle.
Locksmith – Ghost (ft. Jarren Benton) (Video)
Locksmith gives us the Jarren Benton features track, Ghost, as the latest video single from his album, Ali.
I just listened to this album last night and was reminded how much I love Locksmith’s flow. His introspection and observational lyricism puts him in a class by himself. He and Benton are a really great pairing.
Nutso – Valid 100% (Video)
We always promote Nutso and his music. 2018 was a really quiet year for one of our favorite artists but he’s already setting a dope tone for the new year. If you haven’t been in the know…get familiar!
DZ The Unknown – Inner Demons (prod. by C-Lance)
DZ The Unknown and C-Lance channel the darkness and cook up a witches brew of sobering effect. The dark strings, guitar, and sample provide ample shadow for DZ’s Inner Demons.
I have heard now two songs from the forthcoming project, Observe and Adapt, and I am looking forward to it greatly.
Single You Out: Lee Ricks & BigBob – Life’s A Bitch (ft. LDontheCut)

This track is a couple weeks old (nearly) but it’s going to get a proper feature on here because I am really feeling this combination of Lee Ricks on the mic and BigBob on the boards. Ricks articulates the travails of life and BigBob interweaves the iconic AZ song from the 1990s to perfection between bars. LDontheCut providing the scratches. Love this!
Solomon Childs – Bullsh!t Refusal (Video)
Solomon Childs and Tone Spliff release the video single for this joint off of their collaborative album, The Prophet and the King, which is out now. This is just no-nonsense hip hop and these two artists are definitely not playing. The song has a melodic vibe to it but this is not sing-a-long rap. Childs is delivering heavy-hitting bars and Tone Spliff adds the necessary scratches for all the dope touches.
Check it out!
Rigz & Mooch – Net 10 (Video)
Rigz and Mooch show you why they are amongst the most lethal of wordsmiths when they work together over a track. And this time they get laced by Giallo Point and you know there is some damage to be done over this haunting production!
Single You Out: Him-Lo x Giallo Point – Ol Dirty Swordzman

Him-Lo of Da Buze Bruvaz links up with the acclaimed producer Giallo Point for this track that utilizes one of the most recognizable Ol’ Dirty Bastard samples from the Wu-Tang Clan’s first and classic album. The aggressive vibe and lyricism displayed on the track do ample justice to the sample.
It’s a tough track from the forthcoming album, OJ Glovez. The title and the artwork amuse me to no end by the way. Should be dope!
Single You Out: Jay Royale – Roddy Piper (ft. Supreme Cerebral)
New single from Jay Royale rocking over a beat from Slumlord and with scratches from DJ Grazzhoppa. You also have the shooter Supreme Cerebral dropping a sure shot sixteen bars. The track has a very movie score vibe to it with the strings and sound effects and the emcees treat the track like they are a tag team ready to run down the competition. Really dope track!
