Rigz – Beach Chairs in Marcy (ft. Mooch) (prod by Chup) (Video)

Rigz and Mooch is THE combination in my mind and when Da Cloth gets together on a track…it’s a wrap for everyone. The polish and the skills are on display for everyone to see on the Chup produced, Beach Chairs In Marcy. The refinement is evident in the level in which these artists are writing and performing at.

If you haven’t check out the album, Wake Ups, yet…please make sure you do. Right now, it’s at the very LEAST a Top 5 album of the year in my humble opinion…at least.

It’s cool to be the one they ain’t seen in a while / Fuck what you had or what you did if they ain’t feeing you now

RedRum – Gladiator Sport (Video)

When I did my album review of , The Messiah Complex, this was one of the tracks I featured in that article. This is a tough track laced by Da Supastarz the RedEye and Racks (RedRum) simply body. The exchange of bars here just drives the track and the visual element of a B-Boy battle, just gives that additional hip hop perspective to the Gladiator Sport.

Make sure you check out the review and the album!

Dark Lo & V Don – Lamb (Video)

Dark Lo and V Don have a project on their hands by the name of Charlie Pope, which is out now, and this is I think the third single off the project. Lo has probably the most distinctive flow in the game, and that distinction is couple with Don’s unique and dynamic production stylings. You can hear that union of distinction on this track. I ran through the project, and I thought it banged hard throughout, and each song was pretty damn stong.

I can easily recommend it.

The Bad Seed – Already Dead (prod. by Snowgoons) (Video)

Very few have been as prolific as The Bad Seed has been in the last couple of years, but yet somehow that just gets discounted. This man is a beast on the mic! I’ve been listening to him since you could only find his music on 12″, and he is just getting better as the years go on!

Here he demonstrates that high skill level over a beat from none other than the Snowgoons! That’s a match made in heaven in my mind. Those subtle strings and that voice/flow sound like destiny. The results are dope and this is a precursur to the new album, ALPHA which I hope will make it’s way to us soon!

Single You Out: Snotty – 99 Acura (ft. Mickey Diamond)

This is my favorite track off of Snotty’s recently released, and Don Carrera produced, Other Side Of The Wall. Mickey Diamond joins him on 99 Acura, and these voices and flows slice through the piano riff and production. There is beauty in simplicty and these guys make less-is-more sound glorious.

I am going to be checking hard for Snotty’s material. I backtracked a little bit to check out some of his older material, and he’s got a nice flow.
