We don’t here enough from Lifesava’s Vusratyl anymore. So when we do, we definitely want to get the word out on the new music. Produced by the legendary, Vitamin D, Secondhand Smoke, just snaps. It’s fun and funky with some really great word play. It also has an old school kind of vibe especially when Lunden Benard goes in first. This is something that is going to stick with me, and if you appreciate creativity, it should you as well.
Single You Out: A.M. Early Morning & Nightwalker – Dusk To Dawn (ft. King Magnetic)
A.M. Early Morning and Nightwalker have some new heat coming and this is the second single, Dusk To Dawn, featuring the lyrical beast known as, King Magnetic. This joint is one of those, catch you slipping after midnight, kind of types. It’s dark and ominous . And those are things we feel around these parts. It’s got all kinds of griminess and grittiness behind.
There is a new EP out on September 16th, L.N.E.M. III, so you might want to be chacking for that.
Single You Out: Lucky Tatt – Answer To A Question (prod. by Endemic Emerald)
Lucky Tatt is a name I hadn’t heard before but he has some Endemic Emerald production going on and to me that’s a solid endorsement. Endemic Emerald would only work with true talent, and that’s what we have here in Lucky Tatt, and his single, Answer To A Question, from his recently released album, Provenance.
Answer To A Question showcases intelligence, introspection, and a health dose of social consciouness. Add to that formula a very capable emcee, and a stalwart of a producer, I think we have a win here folks. I am going to be checking out his album in the very near future.
Single You Out: Guilty Simpson & Gensu Dean – Don’t Pull

Gensu Dean and Guilty Simpson are linking up again for a new project entitled Ego, which is dropping on October 4th. Don’t Pull is the first single from the project, and truly enjoying the electronic and futuristic sound that Dean fused for this track which allows Simpson to play the lyrical Bladerunner. He has the voice that cuts through the synth layers, giving this joint the grittiness it deserves.
Spit Gemz – New Scar (Video)
This video has been out for a few weeks, but it’s Spit Gemz, and it’s important to share his music whenever a chance to presents itself. This joint is off of his most artistic endeavor, Pardon My Poetry.
This man has such a tenacity as an artist, and he does it with great intellect. You can hear a microphone slaughter occuring, but inside of that carnage is amazing turn of phrase. Case in point is his Caduceus line.
New Scar is produced by Jazzsoon.
Make sure you check out his new project.
BadFellas (Frank B & The Truth) – Paint Houses (ft. Bobby J From Rockaway) (Video)
Frank B and The Truth are the BadFellas, and as we illustrated earlier this year, they dropped an incredibly dope, self titled, album. This is one of my favorite joints from the track, and the visuals are exceptionally well done. Dope bars are ample on this track, as Bobby J From Rockaway lends a sixteen to the cause as well. I especially like the grisly delivery from The Truth, as he tries to clean the competition from the walls.
Dope material…and stop sleeping on this album.
Single You Out: Price Stylez – Swift Vengeance
We’ve featured Price Stylez on the blog before and he’s back quite literally with a Swift Vengeance over this beat from Da Beyonda. The track moves fast at only just over two minutes long and starts a scene like a movie, and then rides in with a smooth production. Stylez only drops a verse but it’s pretty potent and the skills definitely capture your attention.
Righteous Sinner is coming, and we will be featuring another single here very shortly, and I have the impression that this something that will instantly slip into rotation.
BIG ALMIGHTY (Raf Almighty x BigBob) – Accomplishment (ft. Guy Grams & Lyfe The Oracle) (Video)
BigBob and Raf Almighty are back at it with a continuation of their project 537 Dolphin St, with their soon to be released project, Once Upon A Time In Baltimore.
Guy Grams joins the duo on the single Accomplishments, as they reminisce on where they were, and how their accomplishments changed them for the better.
Dope material. New project should be out soon.
Single You Out: WrdLife x Shanty Gallos – Just The Way It Is
New single from Wrd Life and Shanty Gallo’s forthcoming EP, 786. This track is an appreciation joint for where the artists hail from. Wrd Life sharing stories and giving perspective to his residence over Gallo’s production and relaying words of wisdom gained during the time spent in true hip hop fashion.
Single You Out: Conflikt – Armada (ft. Zagnif Nori x Jamil Honesty x TAP OUT x Juice Mega)

I am always a fan of Conflikt’s production. You may not know him by name but I am sure you have heard his music. He’s got a new album dropping soon, The Cull. And his first single features Zagnif Nori, Jamil Honesty, TAP OUT, and Juice Mega. It’s a banger so stay tuned for what’s next!
